Welcome, Piratecutie! We do have some older teens in this group, though the teen thread has been taken over by the younger ones.

My To Do list isn't getting any shorter. I keep adding to the bottom. One thing on my To Do list is "make a packing list".

Gus, here's your answer from the US Custom's Dept. site:

Alcoholic Beverages
Nonresidents who are at least 21 years old may bring in, free of duty and internal revenue tax, up to one liter of alcoholic beverage—beer, wine, liquor—for personal use. Quantities above the one-liter limitation are subject to duty and internal revenue tax.

Thankyou Jill.....

I guess I'm over the limit as the kids under 21 years of age.

I am going to bring more than whats allowed, and smile and be VERY friendly.

Thanks again

Gus

I don't know why we have never gotten together. I guess we have just been really busy. We take a red eye out Monday evening. Step daughter is driving us to the airport. She'll probably be trying to make us feel bad for leaving all the kids at home for the holidays. Don't care! (Well I kind of do). Anyway what sadness I might have of leaving them at home I'm sure will be more than made up when I meet all of the DIS family!

Paul

Leaving ours too, and I also have some mixed feelings, BUT I will get over it real quick! :earboy2:

Yep, I would be "Toots". Welcome DH, now don't spend all day on this board 'cause you know your list of tasks is pretty long today.

Welcome DrHug! It is kind of scary at first but my Granny always use to say in for a penny in for a pound. Jump in and enjoy, it is a blast. :jumping4:

Hi PirateCutie05........

I was talking to your sister about the blue Donald Duck hockey jersey
( Large ) for your Dad.

Tina said she might be able to pick it up as well.
Are you still able to do this Tina?
I'm not sure how difficult it will be for me with the kids

Gus
Actually Gus, it was me who said I could do it. Let's put it this way (so that sugaswim and piratecutie's Dad doesn't get 2 shirts). If you want me to get it, send me a pm before next Tuesday with the size and description. Otherwise, I'm assuming you're getting it!

How's that for a program manager type decision process?

MOVIES!!!!

Jolene at DCL told me that these are the movies playing on either the Magic or the Wonder (or both) during our cruise:

The Incredibles
National Treasure
Around the World in 80 Days
Brother Bear
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen
Finding Nemo
Raising Helen
Ladder 49
Home on the Range
Pirates of the Caribbean
Princess Diaries 2
The Village
Miracle
Mr. 3000

I would guess that some of these are on the tv in the stateroom and not in the theater.

I'm definitely going to see The Incredibles AGAIN!!!!

Now when will I ever find the time to see:

The Incredibles
National Treasure
Around the World in 80 Days
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen
Ladder 49
Pirates of the Caribbean(again and again and again, just like home)

Movies I'm looking to see. I'll see some of the other ones too, but these are ones that I haven't seen yet.

Nope, I'll bet these are all theater movies. It's 10 days, after all. There will be several movies a day. WOO-HOO. ...looks like a good line up of movies!

Can't miss a meal, can't miss a dis meet, can't miss a beach opportunity, can't miss a show, what'll I do

I guess I will be spending some time at the movies. There are at least 8 movies I want to see.

Oh well, I don't tan well anyway, so being in the dark is not a problem for me.

Ken

2:00-2:15 am. Wonder if they are showing then. We will have to skip the sleeping, I think. :boat:

Southwest just opened up May 2005 for reservations. So I just got our airline seats for the May Repo cruise. With the 10 day coming up, it seems funny that I'm thinking about the Repo, but I guess the planning never stops. We are signed up to do Dive Quest and the Segway tour at Epcot in the couple of days prior to the May cruise.

Can't wait for the Holiday cruise, can't wait for the Repo, what's a guy to do?

I hear ya! I booked our tickets to LA for the Aug repo last week. Waiting for a good deal on the return flight.

Welcome Piratecutie and DrHug (she says with open arms!)

Trying to get some little things done today. My days just seem to go so quickly, and if I've managed to accomplish one thing it's a miracle.

I guess I feel guilty now, too. Megan and Pete were supposed to go to New York for the holidays, and now they aren't. They'll be here alone. I guess I was here alone when I was newly married, too.....but still......

Anyway, just thought I'd say hi. Sorry if I ruined any keyboards...."lisa" was asleep, so I thought I'd take a moment and pour it all out. Lisa is resting up for the cruise.....so you have been warned!!!:scared:

Which makes me extra glad that we aren't attempting to drive back to Ohio on December 28th. I'll have to eat MIL's food, but maybe that's better than driving on NO sleep!

Maybe if I'm REALLY tired, I'll sleep through dinner that night! ;) ;) ;)
