It is the Epson PictureMate (no model number listed). The PC Magazine test was in the November 16th issue. The actual printer is smaller then it looks in the picture. It take a special ink cart that comes with 100 pieces of 4x6 paper. The ink and paper was something like $29.95 at Office Depot when I was looking at it.
Here is what PC Mag had to say about it:
This ink jet printer competes head-to-head with thermal-dye photo printers. Unlike the Canon unit, the PictureMate lets you print from just about anything, including memory cards, USB keys, and PictBridge cameras. The built-in menus are helpful, but there's no color LCD to preview images; instead, you must print an index sheet, with 20 images per sheet (unless you are printing directly from a camera). Each print took about 2:15 minutes to print. Prints are a match for conventional film based photos, and they're water-proof and smear-proof. Even better, they cost only 29 cents each.
You could bring the printer along with you on the cruise and be competition for Shutters.
Have fun
Ken

All 6 of these pages are my 8 1/2 x 11 from our May 2003 cruise. They don't show any embellishments, but they do show how I do the pictures, background and any journaling all on one page.
Please note that to save web space we saved that at about 50% quality so the letters won't be real sharp. The actual pages look better.
Enjoy!

Linda - actually I didn't use anything on these pages but software. All of those pages are done entirely on the computer.seaulater said:Mary-awesome pages. Love Bear's page. I see you use a corner rounder on your pics also. I love doing that instead of having my photos squared.
Okay, I'll see what I can do to get a page put on!

I think your pages are just fabulous!! I'm thinking of sending the kids to public school and spending the time scrapbooking instead![]()
I find it a lot easier to do a theme for each page. The lab sounds like a great theme for her to use. Are you giving her a camera to take with her?ohiominnie said:I'll have to show these to KT. Maybe she'll want to do a page about the lab or, more specifically, the counsellors (esp her favorite...Kerry--the one she's busting with anticipation to see!)
WDWLVR said:I always use a book with page protectors and I put each days navigator in there as well.

The two I use most often are Microsoft Picture It! and American Greetings Scrapbooks and More.booksw said:What kind of software do you use? I am almost afraid to ask because I bet it would be the kind of thing I would start and 6 hours later I would realize 6 hours went by and al the things I should have been doing didn't get done...
boy, I need a vacation...
Thanks for sharing it!

I bring a plastic box with me to collect all the Navigators and anything else that I think I want to use in the scrapbook. I save everything. Brochures from places we visit (like the butterfly museum in Key West), our KTTW cards, our dining tickets, everything.booksw said:Will you bring scrapbooking stuff with you or do you collect all the things and then scrapbook at home?
