Can we use our Disney Reward Card for purchases on the ship?

If I wasn't so lazy, I'd look in my Reward booklet.
But that's what WE'RE here for, right??
My plan is that sometime on the first day I'll take it down to guest services and have them put it to our account. That's what I did when we stayed at the Contempory last year. Just had them empty it. Much easier than trying to keep track of what is on it. Plus with the excursions we have booked we'll have a sizable amount on our bill already and it will help pay that off.

The Scuba's have met my dh. He's not the talkative one in the family.

Although Virgil has met dh a couple of times and will probably agree that once he warms up he'll talk more. :)

I know this has been answered, but I'll chime in....YES! In fact, I have 459 points/dollars in my account now and I'm waiting for my next statement to post so I can get more and transfer it all over to my card.

Helps when you put nearly EVERYTHING on your card and then pay that off instead of writing checks for everything. I always laughed that you could pay most of your bills with a credit card, but now I'm doing it so I get more points!!

Oh, sorry, puppy class today was agility and there was a lot of talk about what dogs were "bred for."

Btw, I did the goofiest thing today. Had Maggie's pictures taken with Santa. 1/2 the cost of it went to our local humane society, so I justified it that way.

At the rate she's going, this will be her only Christmas with us....so I thought I'd commemorate it some how. (and in fact, we won't even SEE her on Christmas!!!)
 

I use my Southwest Rapid Rewards card like that. Paid off the cruise with it, and got yet another ticket in the mail. Alicia and I are flying to Orlando on it, Holiday air fare was expensive! We've gotten two more tickets since we booked those flights that we can use next summer.

Well, maybe the Scuba family should warn the ppl who get in line behind them....so the new family isn't surprised. Something like "oh, just so you aren't surprised, but a few of my family had to use the rest room...they'll be right back." 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.........etc

You would think that since Stacey was able to get us our room for the wine party that her Twin Lisa could get us our own boarding line (before the regular cruisers of course). :D

Not amazing at all - just very list oriented. If I don't get them checked off I'll drive myself crazy.

Nick should be speaking RIGHT now in his second performance of the day...
I can hear him now.."What's the matter, Eeyore?" :) I'll be just a titch sad when this is over. It is kinda fun.

In order to prolong the play atmosphere, I've decided to throw a pizza party lunch for the cast and crew after the final performance that Nick does (Wednesday the 15th--one day before we leave!! As if I needed more to plan and do!) We've found small little gifts that fit all of the cast and crew well and Nick will give those out (for example, Eeyore has three dogs so Nick will give Ted/Eeyore a Kong for his dogs. Piglet likes to read so we got her a $5 gift card to Waldenbooks. Pooh LOVES Toaster Strudel...so, you guessed it, he'll get a box of toaster strudel) :) It'll be fun! They've all been so good to us...and especially Nick! Am I a crazy stage mom yet? :crazy:

Yes, I have questioned his Viking blood a number of times. He is not that tall and all his blond hair fell out when he was much younger. He says he compensates because he likes beer and women. I decided not to pursue that line further.... :earboy2:

I love lists. I make them all the time. Then misplace them. Or write the same things on 4 different sheets of paper. Or I'll write a list that starts with:

  • Make a list

Speaking of tops. Does this happen to anyone else. You are posting on another thread or board and you get a top and say to yourself "YEAH TOP", but then you realize you can't go back and edit it like we do here because people will think you are nuts.

YES, If I couldn't get the TOP myself, at least my name is in the TOP (although not quoted) so I get credit!! :)

So far, during dinner conversations, I haven't burst out with "Today was a good day, I got 3 TOPS!"

Although I really don't have a life---a lot of my sentences begin with "on the thread" or "I read on the DIS" or "our fellow cruisers are doing..." ;)

No, because it's very rare I venture away from this thread for any length of time anymore.

I used to read the DVC board...got sick of all the same questions/answers all the time.
I used to read the DCL board...but don't have time anymore.
I used to read the WISH board, but seeing as I've had to buy bigger clothes for this cruise, I'm a bit discouraged and don't go there anymore. :)
