Vicki is on the night owl rotation. Still sleeping all day?

We have a pond with Koi. It's only frozen once so far this year. We were assured that this would be a no-maintenance way to landscape, but it hasn't worked out that way.

What happens to the Koi when it freezes? Sorry if that's a totally dumb question.

They kind of hibernate deep in the pond. Most of them make it through the winter.

Angela, I e-mailed my TA this a.m. about the very same thing. She called DCL and was told that the form is no longer included in the docs, but it is still printed on the box.
No one at DCL was able to tell her if we would have to fill out a similar form at port, so her advice was to bring along "emergency contact" info (name, address of next of kin) just in case.

Thanks for that Stacey. I can give them my Mum's details as next of kin so if I need to fill something in at the port I will be able to remember those.

It's Saturday so I slept in till 4:30. I figure that by the end of the cruise I might be sleeping in till 6:00 am.

I sure wish I could be more like DS who can sleep until noon.

The good part is that I have the house all to myself.

Ever since the new boards have gone up we have been having a problem logging out.

Anyone who knows Scuba.Mom knows she has never been awake to post something at 4:30 am.

I logged on at lunch and felt like I was butting in a conversation between Jim & Sharon. They were chatting on the thread and I felt like the little old lady at the next table listening in.

It worked. We meet up for dinner last night with DS. We might as well chat while at work because the cruise and boards are the only thing we talked about at dinner. "Did you read about....."

We are believers in DIS.

Scubas...Lisa better be coming to dinners. After all, that's what I used to bribe KT to actually eat dinner with us...."Lisa will be there..." .

She will be there. We will be enforcing the "dinner with the parents" rule.

BTW, I was informed at dinner tonight that I had my cruises mixed up. Lisa didn't want to eat Christmas with us on the 2002 cruise and not the 2003.

The family cruise historian corrected me.

The DIS board has an official store. We bought lime green DIS shirts from them. If you don't have lime green or a cruise shirt on...have no fear...just find the Scubas. They will be the one rolling up their tent and getting in line to board first. If you find ONE DIS family, you'll more than likely find more...and more...and more...and more....and more....and more...and more....

Funny, but true. Now the pressure is really on for us to get there early. Of course that will be the one day that I will actually be able to sleep in, but NO...DW will be getting my butt out of bed.
