Thanks Gus,

Looking forward to meeting you also and everyone else. I am happy and proud also of who i know. When you meet me, I dont look like the person knowing all the big management. I look small, so people assume I am quite and shy. I seem to be more shy around other teens my age but adults I am not. I feel very lucky to know who I know and really hope it will benefit career wise. I know some employees who worked in food and retail at WDW and DL and they say I am lucky to know them also. Got my foot already in the door and I cant wait until I am totally in the door. Half way through my freshman year in HS already! YAY I cant wait to meet the new DCL President this cruise. Cruise is only 2 weeks away! Less then that. Imagine 2 weeks from now I will be sitting seeing the first show on the cruise! Woo Hoo!

Another chance to get together on the ship....

My brother and sister-in-law came down. They brought a game that is really fun!! It's called "left-right-center." Everyone starts with 3 dimes (or pennies, or dollars or chips) and you roll the dice. You distribute your dimes according to what the dice say...either to the left player, the right player, the center pot or you hold onto them. If you have 3 dimes, you roll 3 dice. 2 dimes, 2 dice...etc.

Anyway...the person with the last dime wins the center pot!!

It's a blast and only costs $0.30 per round (if you do it with dimes)

Is anyone interested in getting together sometime to play? We can haul it down if there is some interest....

DM loves Christmas, the lights, music, decorations. She also loves going to Christmas Eve services. I am normally such a homebody unless one of my sisters takes her she doesn't get to go. I told her there will be services on board and she is really excited. Maybe not til Christmas Day, but she will still enjoy.

Do you have an appointment set up for him Matt?

I wonder if he is on business or pleasure or a little of both.

I'm in....

Oh by the way, just a thought.....is this a form of gambling?

Is anyone interested in meeting at one of the casinos on one of the islands for a DIS meet at a black jack table?

Mary....Just curious do you put the tip money in envelopes and have them ready to go.

Great idea.....saves precious time onboard.

Gus
Gus, what I do is put aside the money, a phone card, and this year the thank you cards. I usually paperclip them with a post it note stating the position (server, room steward, etc.)

Then when it comes to tip time we use the envelopes they supply and adjust the tip if needed (we've only gone down once and have gone up many times).

I believe Stacey even makes her own envelopes.

Karen - sounds like fun! Count me in. Wonder if we could do this at Cove Cafe - I thought they had some larger tabels.

We put everything in the over the door thingy. Sunscreen, brushes, hair things, makeup, meds, anything that might get lost on top of the desk. It's good to put "grab as you go out the door" stuff in too, like cameras and lanyards and KTTW cards, because you can see them. Guess I should mention that we put it on the cabin side of the bathroom door.

Great suggestions. I wondered what door it would work best on.

Vicki looks great (not that I saw here before :D ) What a trooper! She is sweet. You seem nice too even if you do keep reminding me that OSU trounced U of M.

At the bottom of the smilie pulldown there is text that says: -Show All Smilies- Just click there and the old box of smilies will appear.

Now you see why Mary and I usually take turn answering things. :)

Hey Bri,
I made ours with a combination of Paint Shop Pro (to modify or clean up the graphics) and Microsoft Publisher. But most of the graphic design software will do the trick.

I posted these a few dozen pages back, but here they are again if your interested;

Main Door Sign

Pirate Night Door Sign

Good luck with the project. There are several sites out there that might help you out with graphics.

http://www.wondersofdisney.disneyfansites.com/clipart/

http://www.geocities.com/disneyclipart/

both have a lot of fun stuff.
You neglected to mention printing the sign on the special magnetic paper that most office supply stores have. That might be just a teeny tiny important fact. ;)
