Hi Gus.....you will never believe what I did. One of the pirate costume sites had a costume I wanted a long time ago, but it was out of stock. They e-mailed me to say they had it now.....so I ordered it! This one had better fit, and look half-way decent. Pretty soon, I'll be able to open my own "rejected" costume shop!!

If you bring them on the ship, you might be able to sell all of your "rejected" costumes for a premium price to some of the people who want to be pirates, but did not plan as well as you did to be prepared for Pirate Night.

Good Morining Everyone or almost Afternoon!!!!

Just checking in before I have to start doing some real work --- some "important" people are coming next week so we have to make everything look pretty in case they walk around --- so lots of cleaning around here. If any of you work in an IT dept you know it just lends itself to junk!!!!

Am I the only one that doesn't have DOCS yet?

Mark --- Thanks for the files --- I was going crazy 'cause I was trying to open your first link --- then I found the post with just the files. THANKS!

Have a great day ---- hope I can check in over the weekend!!! Going to start seperating the carry-on versus checked bags!!!!

Quick Question --- does anyone know if you can bring knitting needles on the plane --- both DD's are suddenly interesting is knitting!!! Also, this may be a dumb question but I just recently started using aerosol hairspray --- is it okay????

:flower1:

I am so glad you asked about the knitting needles, I was curious as my DD just got interested too!
Cheers,

Okay, who's going to make the last post from home? Posts on the ship shouldn't count.

Let's see, we know the scuba family won't be posting from home after 0600 if they want to be first in line, right? So that might leave us with Cindy (stingfan)? Any other Floridians?????

I'll try to post from the front of the line.

To answer your question - we've always torn out our forms ahead of time and put the ones we need in our passports - that's all we give to the agents. They seem happy they don't have to page through the book. No one has ever asked to see the rest, but being the worry wart I am I've always brought the rest of the book with me anyway

That's exactly what I do. I remove all of the forms that need completion and have them paper clipped together by type. I bring the book as well, the individual who allows you in to drop off your luggage at the port usually wants to see how many "books" you have and make sure it matches the number of people in your vehicle. The Disney Represenitive is usually very pleased I am so well organized. I hate to get behind someone who has not filled out their paperwork before boarding - Oh that's right, I haven't been behind anyone the last three cruises. Here's hoping for good luck on this trip. :flower1: :flower1: :flower1:

Am I right in thinking that DCL supply towels for taking ashore to the beach etc?
As you may have guessed I have just started packing and I wondered whether I need to throw in some beach towels.

Angela

No need to pack beach towels. DCL will provide them to you as you leave the ship.

Her stage name was Gretl (Greta) and I'm sorry to disappoint you I don't recall her real name. I guess I'll have to watch it again. It's just no fun, since no one in our family will watch it with me. Where is my sister when I need her. She would know the answers to all of the Sound of Music questions.

Disappointing!

I thought you knew everything about both the Sound of Music and Disney.

I love these lights that tell you who is on the boards.

So, time for me to finish up here at work (I love short day Fridays!!) and I will see you Scuba Diver tonight for dinner. It's off to my Friday errands - pick up Lisa from School, have before practice "dinner" with Lisa, and watch her private. Then it's off to errands with Matt and finally dinner with my "Scuba Guys" - Jim & Matt. Lisa hasn't had dinner with us on a Friday night in so long (because she's at the gym), I don't think she even misses it anymore. Family Dinner for 10 Days - yea!!!! (Well, 9 Days. One day is just for hubby and I at Palos)

You actually think the kids will join us every night.

Remember last year? On Christmas night I had to go get Lisa out of her program as they were eating dinner. She did not want to leave her friends.

We've been fortunate with Alicia in that respect. She enjoys the whole getting dressed up and the good food served at dinner. Although on the last couple of cruises, she had not had the opportunity for so many friends. It may be different on this cruise....

It is a neat feature. If I'm working at my desk, I leave the boards up so I don't lose my place. And the way this group chats, it is important not to lose your place.

It might show me "online" but that may not be the case. I suspect others do the same.

For those who have the REAS pkg, was there supposed to be something in our docs? Or should I just trust DCL and my TA that we are all set? That's a scary thought...:scared1: I'll print the DU confirmation letter and bring with me, just in case.

I do too...Unfortunately I used to do it with my IM program as well and then people thought I was ignoring them

Has anyone seen the live Lion King (the Broadway production)? It's finally made it to Seattle and we have tix for tonight! :cheer2:

I hear it's amazing.

A T.O.P !!!!!!!!! pirate:

I had not done that yet. To many employees walking by my office door. Something about seeing all the :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc on the screen. They might not think I am working.

I was told there wouldn't be anything in the documents, but that you would get a confirmation note in the stateroom listing all your times.

I'm taking the copy of my e-mail I got from Dreams just in case. Especially since we changed our Palo night.
