Hello All 10 nighters!!!!

As you can see I just joined the DIS board. "WVMD" was kind enough to invite me over here. This will be our third DCL cruise in 3 years. Really looking forward to next week. I wish I had known about the DIS board earlier but I guess it is better late than never .

Congrats on a TOP (top of page) they are quite coveted around here!!

Kevin (tinksdad) is organizing a bunch of DIS dives. I'm sure he'll post the info.

I'd think not.
But if non-DIS'ers come we'll have to have them go through an initiation ceremony. Some sort of hazing would be appropriate. To punish them for not joining the DIS and getting to know us all sooner. Maybe we can make them repel onto Stacey's verandah!

They can join us after the read all 23,000 posts. That's what we had to do to join so make them go through the same thing.

Shouldn't be. I thought the Gum ornament(s) were already in the hands of the Scubas (hopefully they aren't thinking the lime green thong is an ornament!!!)

Just sitting here thinking about how I can post something about the lime green thong hanging off something....decided not to.

Lot's of dive information on this board. Our dive master is TinksDad. Go back a page or so and look at one of his postings. The dive information is in his signature.

I know there are at least 6 of us diving with Dive Fair Helen. TinksDad web site has all of our dive locations on it.

We use the baby shampoo method and it works fine.

I have used Joy liquid soap with success and no problems.

Nope, that would be cheating Has to be from home! I said a couple of days ago that I wondered who would be the last post before we got on the ship, and speculated that it would be on of the FL people. Looks like Leslie will be leaving home the latest.

Lisa, pardon my ignorance -- are we talking about checking them into the lab? When did that change??? Can we really do it at the terminal now?

Yep, apparently where the coffee shop used to be they're now doing early lab/club signups.

For those of you who remember my lost DD story from our first cruise, yes this will be a very early stop for us. I can't say the first stop, because I know I"m going to be stopping for every DISer between the door and the registration tables!

Can I declare victory? My packing is completely done except: my makeup (kind of need to wear that to church/work the next few days!), our prescription sunglasses (it does occasionally sunshine here too!), our cell phones, and the extra kids bathing suits they have at their camp this weekend.

The final talley (remember, 4 of us)?

1) Big garmet bag that rolls - checked bag
2) Smaller garmet bag for kids dressy stuff - checked bag
3) Big rolling suitcase - checked bag, and it's 49.8 pounds!
4) small rolling suitcase - checked bag
5) large cloth suitcase - checked bag

That's all the cruise bags, then

6) Large duffle bag - checked bag
7) small sized suitcase - also checking this, but it is in the carry on size range.

Those two are WDW bags, and also include all our medicine/toiletries, etc.

Carryons include:
8) beach bag
9) family backpack
10) DD backpack with her books and CDs/CD player
11) DS backpack with his books and new gameboy

Hey, don't we get 2 checked and 2 carryons per person? We could fit 1 more checked and 4 more carryons in there! Maybe I should take some decorations? NAAAAAAH!

I am about the same place. My DD however spent the morning packing. So if you see a cute little 5 year old dressed in ballet tights, red wool mittens and rain boots you know who she belongs to.

Just finished packing two of our carry-ons. Of course these would be mine, wine.

Glad to know there is no weight restrictions for carry-ons. One bag is 63 lbs and the other is 42.

We have had practice carrying sessions and the kids are able to both handle their bags.

I guess we can take them (I'm talking about the kids).
