Do they have information sessions before each Port of Call with info on shopping, taxis, points of interest etc. on the cruise?

Yes, they do....they are listed in your daily Navigator that comes to your room, and sometimes they have a "talk" about shopping in port, etc.

Sir Paul...where have you been???

Been busy! Tired on Friday so came home and watched ELF. Saturday worked 10 hours on a Christmas Special that the station does involving local high school choirs. Then went to a friends Christmas party and drank WAAAY too much (and I'm paying for it now!)
Finally caught up on the posts. Now I need to go get some more stuff done. The evil DW gets back on Wednesday and her list had better be done!

Now that I have caught up on the reading, my first load of clothes is ready to come out of the dryer. Just about the time I wanted to chat.
Today is the "try on all the shorts and swimsuits" day. It could get ugly.

Very well said back there, Mary. We have an amazing group.

Therese, you asked how Jay liked jury duty. He really enjoyed it, and from what I saw yesterday, they had a great group of people. They were told by more than one attorney that they were one of the best groups the Grand Jury had ever had. They put a lot of thought into their decisions.

Thanks Mary and everyone for all that you did. I wish I could have done more but took a 5 month hiatus from the boards. I hope you all are looking forward to the cruise. I know how hard work it can be somtimes doing all the organizing. I did the organizing for our DIS Meet on the last cruise, it was fun though. So we are down to 1 week, 6 days and counting! I am gettting excited. IF anyone has any last minute not answered questions now is the time to ask. I am sure me or one of the other members who has sailed on DCL will be able to help. See you all soon and thanks for such a fun time waiting for this cruise.

Same here - best of all it is the DVC Member cruise so we'll be sailing with friends for the 12/18 - Yeah!

I know this was discussed in a half joking manner last night, but I have been giving it some semi-serious thought before now.

Exactly how many of us are showing up at port when?

I'd like to figure this out now to get a good idea of how we're going to meet there.

Everyone drop me a pm with the following info:

• When are you planning on getting there?
• By what method of transportation?
• Concierge?

Would really help in us getting together right away.

We're going to be at the port around 11. We'll come over via Budget renta car, probably drop of the luggage with me and the kids, then DH will return the car. No conceirge here! Hope to hook up with all of you then!
