Thanks, Diana. He does look so little in that picture. Doesn't help that those character costumes are about 7 feet tall!! They are just adorable though!

That makes so much more sense now. I looked at the picture and he looked so small. I met Nick in October and I didn't remember him being so tiny. He looks real cute. Please do try an tape his show. Maybe they could play in for us on one of the Large Screen TV's in Diversions - A second DIS party!!!

Karen - thanks for the interpretation.... I definitely missed that one....

I hope that you can get a VHS tape - we will have a VCR in our Cat. 3 - and would love to have a watching party.....

I am avoiding going into work today. I know I have to for a while but don't want to do it too early.

Stacey, Diana, & Mary - I went you all a PM.

Actually, after dinner that night they are taking us to a place called "The Villages." It's some big shopping complex. And at the very least I figure there will be SOMETHING to eat---a pretzel, ice cream, anything!

WOW your in-laws don't live too far from my parents if you are going to "the Villages" It is a massive conglomerant of shops/ offices and everything else. Do the IL's live in the Villages retirement community? My parents live 10 minutes north of "the Villages" just off 441.

Vicki

I'm up but not going out shopping. I am going to go to the post office later to mail my overseas Christmas cards. Other than that nothing planned.

Paul

i hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving! now i need to go back and see what happened on my day away. but that will have to wait until i get back from work...boo...my entire family has off but me. i think the restaurants can last one day without seeing their rep. how much is going to get accomplished before the weekend anyways? whatever needed to get done had to be done before yesterday anyhow. grrrrr

Karen - I would love to see a showing of the play so if you do get it on tape please invite me to the viewing!

Wow, lots of ppl want to see this play. I'd LOVE to show it. I do know that I will have it on DVD, not VHS. I'm not the worlds best videographer, but I guess it'll be better than nothing, huh? Should probably go get a tripod, that would help.

I know Stacey said she'd have a portable DVD player if no one has a DVD player in their room. Or the Diversions idea would be great, but not sure they'd go for that. Hmmmm...

Vicki,
They live in Grand Island. I have NO idea where that is in relationship to the Villages. They've lived down there a year and they just found the Villages a couple of months ago. Said it's really cool!

We'll probably have a portable DVD player too - we'll figure out how to hook it up to the TV....

Lesee if anyone get this one..

It is a place where everyone has a number?

Good morning cruisers - you must all have full bellies from the turkeys, dry roast beef, and other goodies that you had last night... As soon as DD is out of school, we have to go out of town for DH's company Christmas party - will be back Sunday, hopefully the boards will be back up by then... I hope you all have a great weekend...

It's not the biggest screen, but we are taking our laptop with us.

I'm up, been catching up on the reading.

Jay left this a.m. for the cabin. Normally, I would therefore be able to be on here all weekend....but

NOOOOOOO ......the boards will be down!

Not going shopping, not going to work......guess I'll have to do laundry. Oh boy!

It also just dawned on me. If no one is at our shop today, and the UPS or FedEx guy comes with our DOCS....no one will be there to sign for them.........:headache:
The UPS guy knows where I live. He would probably bring them here. That means I should go get dressed.

I had a phone call a minute ago. Fellow that we know wanted to know if Jay was working today. I love living in a small town sometimes. Not.

:cheer2: :cheer2:

Nope, it's not the Document Dance....

This is known as the "Maggie got her stitches out" dance!!!

The vet was AMAZED to see how good her incision looked (that's from all my hard work) and said she's good to go. Try to keep her a bit on the quiet side for one more week (no open running in the back yard) and she'll be ok.

She also :cheer2: :cheer2: got that collar off her head, so hopefully by the time the cruise starts the bruises on the backs of my legs will be healed!!! ;)

On the other hand, Nick will probably be in a wheelchair with casts on both legs. He's had so many ppl tell him to "break a leg" tonight that I'm afraid he'll take it literally---he does that! ;) Even the vet said "break a leg" and she's going to try to come see the show! Guess I've been in there so much she's become attached!!
