Is opening night Saturday?

Friday night! I've got my comp tickets in hand! woo-hoo.

Nick did GREAT today (the small part he did do)....lost his volume quite a bit at the end (in the emotional goodbye to Pooh part) so we've still got to work on that, but much better today. Maybe being in the studio helped instead of the rehearsal room.

My nephew did the OPPOSITE thing. He wore his rubber bands WAY more than he was supposed to....to try to get his braces off SOONER....he figured if 12 hours a day was good, 24 was better. Then his next check up his teeth had gone too far in the OTHER direction and they had to rubber band him in the opposite direction!!

Well the Formal and Semi-formal being next to each other messed up my plans a big. I had made Palo for 12/20, but really want to go on one of the formal nights - if we are going to be dressed up we should go for it! So I've got an e-mail in to Dreams to see if they can switch Palo dinner to the 26th for us. We'll just have to do some minor switching out outfits.

Well, it's official. Maggie is extending her stay at the All American Pet Resort--she'll be a resident from December 15th-January 3rd!
We're not driving back to Ohio on the 28th. Instead we're going to Mike's mom's house and spending two days. We should get home New Year's Eve.

Mike figured I should be able to bear 2 days with his mom if he had to "suffer" through 12 days with my parents!

what DOESN'T Kristin like, Virgil? You were telling us she will pretty much eat everything!

Whew. I was looking over our "contact list" from the play. The other Christopher Robin has the last name of Keseg. And lives on "Kesegs Way."

How much money do you have to have to have a street named after you????

Oh, btw, dad is an ER doc! And I let Mike quit his ER fellowship after one year!!! (smacking myself in the head!!!!!)

Although we wouldn't have a big house and a street named after us, we'd just have more DVC points!!!

Kt was just asking at dinner why we don't have a house like her cousins in NC. Mike said "we could, but then we couldn't afford DVC or the 10 day cruise." Turns out she's happy in our 1970's house with the tacky wallpaper after all! :)

Sushi!! YUMMM!

The Celebrity crusie we went on last year had a GREAT sushi bar at 4pm. Since we had late seating, it was a real treat.

Yeah, but does it tastes like "Mom" used to make????

Well, that depends on if your mom can cook or not... Not as good as my mom, but better than the inlaws... oops, did I say that out loud?

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK so nothing to do but write a packing list and start worrying about what to take on the cruise.

One of the reasons we started going away for Xmas was to escape the 'are you coming to us this year?' problem with our families. It must be tough having Thanksgiving so close before Xmas. It is a lot to organise.
Do you give gifts for Thanksgiving?

Angela

Nope, no Thanksgiving gifts. Interesting though, all of my kids, several nieces and nephews and now my grandkids tell us it is their favorite holiday. And it is the only holiday that the kids get nothing, not even candy. We do always have this huge family gathering at our house and I guess that family is what makes it so special to them.
