Finally caught up!!!!
Had a really busy weekend --- suppose that's how it's going to be from now on!!!! Finally got Jordan's (DD12) closet cleaned out and isolated some cruise stuff for her and began setting up packing central!!!
We are "dressing" for the formal night --- got my "Prom" dress on sale in July. DH will just wear a suit. Semi-formal will be the standard "Little Black Dress".
I was able to find the laundry tabs at Walgreens last year -- I have some left so I haven't tried to find them again. I know wasn't able to find them at Wal-Mart though.
I was waiting until after Thanksgiving to e-mail all the teachers, I mentioned our "absence" to them all at conferences and most of them seemed to think it would't be a problem. My oldest, Andrea -14, will have to take finals but she knew that when we made the reservations. We were hoping the school would cooperate with us and give us the same 2-week break we've had that last few years which would have worked out, but no that's too much to ask, instead they are giving us a week at Easter for the first time --- never had it off before don't need it now. Anyway, the high school has a policy that if you don't miss any school you can opt out of finals --- of course the days she will miss will be the final days that are only half days at that. I hate the way school rules your life --- bad attitude I know.

BTW --- we've had the Whirlpool for about a year and love it --- I thought I needed a new dryer, but since we've got that the dryer is fine --- I guess the problem was the washer not spinning fast enough. We got ours at the Sears scratch and dent store so we saved a couple of hundred dollars because it has a scratch on the side!

Said he wouldn't redrywall, he'd put in an access grate (it'd look like a heating duct) That sounds ok with me---seeing as we always have water problems, might as well make it easy to get to!
