BTW......

20 yr High School reunion next week Friday (the day after Thanksgiving!)


I'm nervous as all get-out.....I gained so much weight.....used to be under 100 lbs.

Any words of wisdom?

Thanks for the pup well wishes. The sedation is helping...it zones her out....unfortunately not the WHOLE time--it wears off too soon. We're trying our best! She's not split open yet, so that's good! Warm compresses are OH so much fun with a squirmy puppy!

COOL! KT would LOVE knowing another friend would be cruising with her. For the life of us we can't remember why we poo-poo'd that date. Maybe the ballet recital (although KT may not even BE in ballet in 2006)

Suggestion...get softer water!
I remember my mom would complain about the hard water and it would make the whites not so white. I love when my water is soft but I'm sick of lugging in the salt. Someday (when I'm not paying for fences and dog stuff) I'm going to look into one of those systems that use a LOT less salt (i.e.Kinetico)

Wow. Went to WISK's website. Not listed there. So I went to TIDE's website and couldn't find them there. Tide has a message board and I checked it out. Ppl on there are complaining that Tide has discontinued their tablets. SAD. I LOVED those for vacation!!!!!

Why, yes, Ohminnie...that does happen to be the washer/dryer I've been eyeing. Only I want them in black.

Jay refuses to get a water softener. We do have a whole house filter, out by the well....so the water is safer ....just not softer.
I've tried using the softeners you add to the washer, doesn't help. I love going to my mom's for an extended visit, because all of our whites brighten up after we've been there a while.

Why am I talking about laundry? I'm doing laundry. I hate laundry.
I'd sooner buy disposable underwear, than to do laundry on the cruise.

And, did you know....(another useless tidbit)....I now keep a dictionary by the computer.......doesn't always help, though!

We used to love the Tide ones. Couldn't find them before our last vacation so we bought the Purex ones. They work just as well.

Just use the kind for the dishwasher. Probably doesn't make much difference, don't you think???

Not taking sides in the OSU/Michigan game (we're watching Nascar on NBC) but did want to say that I was able to flip it on while they were doing script ohio which I haven't seen in years. Love that!
