OM - Today is the big day. I just checked our newspaper and we are lucky today. We actually get to watch THE game, UM vs OSU.

May the best team (Michigan!) win.

What a relief for you it must be. After the game today you can start saying "Michigan" again.

...

Glad you'll be able to watch "THE GAME" I know where I'll be at 1pm.
Congratulations on the anniversary - you are lucky your DW will let you vacation without her on a special day like her anniversary. Hope it's wonderful!!

And to wrap the other things I've read up...

Denise, sorry you can't make the pirate party, will make sure to get lots of pics and stuff. :)

And about the pvc, yes there's going to be some serious re-doing if it's leaking where it glues together. Could also be leaking from where the drain fits into the bottom of the shower too or any number of other places, depends on where the leak is.

Macs are cool! But as someone else said, you can walk into any computer store around here there'll be a few aisles of mac stuff and 1/3 of the store will be pc stuff. :/ Makes it hard to really do what you want to do when the companies only put it out there for pc. But I will stillhave a happy Mac+

Look! before, and after. That's what I get for being in a hurry! Clicking the wrong darn button.

Who has paid the most?

Actually, officially we can start saying Michigan during the week of the game. I probably have said it the most! :(

Mike and KT are off....they are headed to the game. Nick and I are heading to the mall and then to puppy class (without the puppy) which will give Maggie time to rest.

Then we'll come home and watch the game and may the best team (Ohio) win! ;) Our goal? Kill Michigan's Rose Bowl hopes!

GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO WISCONSIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoever posted the "dean men" site, thanks so much.

That was me, but I don't take the credit. Someone on the main board had posted it. It's a pretty cool site!

Oh and one thing about front loaders- you don't need to buy that 'he' soap

I'm not up on modern terminology, but I'm assuming "da bomb" is a GOOD thing based on the rest of your post! :)

REALLY, I don't need to buy HE soap? INTERESTING. I have been--and sometimes it's hard to find! I have NEVER used the "recommended" amount of anything....I figure they tell you that amount so you go through it faster and buy more. I've always used about 1/3 of the amount of regular soap in my regular washer. I use about 1/3 the amount of HE in my front load. Stuff gets clean. I don't smell (that I know of!)

Oh, I also don't shampoo, rinse and repeat! ;)

Between rehearsals, the sick dog, worrying about the preparations I have yet to do for the cruise, and a leaky PVC nightmare it's no wonder I'm not sleeping well and having stress symptoms.

Always remember, things could be worse......
In the scheme of life sick dogs and leaky pipes are nothing.

(I wrote that more for myself than all of you)

OKAY WORK DONE now must go to STORE need food.

THANK YOU do'nt tell dh or my dw

Mr. and Mrs. Scuba....

Happy anniversary!!! Wow 19 years!!! How many of them happy? (sorry, my dad's joke!) I always say Mike and I have been married 13 yrs, 2 of them happy and those weren't consecutive days!! ;)

Dee, congrats!

Congrats to you, Scubas. Jim, that had better be some nice jewelry. What kind does Sharon like?

OK, that's three potential cabins for the 5/27/06 cruise. Anyone else? Feel free to throw out another date!

Mary, there were only about three people interested in the second walking time. I'd say the walking time is 7:30, and if you can't make it (late night), there might be people there at 8:30. I'm going to try and get up most days, and walk with the big group. Or at least some days.

Thanks for the congrats, everyone!

tksbaskets -- my DS is testing tonight. My new rank is Advanced Yellow, he will be Green if he passes tonight.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY JIM AND SHARON !!!!!!!!!!

:jumping1: :rockband:

OM - I hope the pup gets better soon :(

I had a "You know you're spending too much time on the DIS boards" moments yesterday -- the car in front of me had a license plate frame that read "Go Blue -- Michigan" and my first thought was "Boy I'll bet OM would HATE this frame!" :teeth:

Mind you I live in WA so I don't get involved...::yes::

Mary, did I mention you are amazing??? And Bear, you are so cute! I hope you can come play with our bears when we meet. Both Keith and I travel with cruise bears.

Off to get ready for the sparring tounomant...Top Gun, here I come...NOT! But I don't intend to go down easy, either :D

We are booked for the May 27, 2006 cruise. It's one of the Western cruises with two stops at Castaway Cay. Fairly inexpensive, at least compared to the cruises after. We're hoping school will be out by then. And we plan on checking into re-re-booking it on the cruise in Dec.

Anybody else like that date?

Looks good to us. Jim says if we agree on this date, we can go - YEA!!!! Our kids should be out of school by then.

:Oh....did anyone see the cookbook Disney has out, with recipes from the parks and the ships??? I want to get one of those!

Our neighbors received one of those as a gift recently. Jim wants one as well. I know the Scubas eat well now, but can you imagine how well we will eat if I can get a copy of that cookbook at my house. (Downside - Can you also imagine how much weight I could gain if Jim gets a copy of that cookbook. I guess that is the price I will have to pay)

Walking Groups - I have a suggestion for a meeting place. How about the Walt mural outside the Walk Disney Theatre.

It is easy to recognize, should not be crowded at that time of the morning, is on deck 4 so we can start walking right away, and for the early birds the can browse the shop windows and silent auction items.

What do you think?

Please confirm too that we want two groups: 7:30 and 8:30

Sounds good to me. These groups are "fluid", right? If by some strange chance I make it up for the 7:30 walk, I will do that. However, since I didn't have any obligations this morning until noon (pick Lisa up from a sleepover), I did sleep in until 10:00. So, the chances of my being up early may not be too high. But, you never know. I did walk on the treadmill each day on our cruise this summer. That was something I promised myself I would do on each previous cruise, but never seeme to do.

The other big event for the day, besides the UM vs OSU football game, is our anniversary dinner - 19 years. We are celebrating tonight since DW is letting me be out of town next week.

What a good wife, not only is she letting me go to Costa Rica over Thanksgiving, it's also over our anniversary.

There will be a nice dinner and a nice gift to try and make up for it. Food and gifts always seem to work.

I got the great gift this morning. It was a portable GPS unit!!! I HATE to drive (not that I don't drive all over the place to get to work and our kids to their activities) and get especially nervous if I am trying to drive to a new location. So, this is great. A friend used one a couple of weeks ago to drive to a gymnastics meet. I was SO jealous. "Your turn is in 2 miles, turn left, you are appraching your destination on the right"

It's a great gift and Jim is borrowing it tomorrow to use when he and Matt go diving.

I am going to use it next weekend when I have to drive (hopefully someone else will volunteer) over to Tampa with the Gymnastics Optional Team. They are going to see the Olympic Gymnasts. We have "back stage" passes, so hopefully the kids will get to meet these girls. Our girls are very excited.

Mary, did you get the photo? I am a techno idiot, so had DH send one to me in an email that I then forwarded to you. I do know how to "forward" mail, but not how to put a photo in a message.

Angie - no never got the picture. Just an e-mail that you were going to send again.

Sharon - that sounds like a great gift! Yes definately the groups are fluid. We set a time and place. Those that show up in a reasonable amount of time (say 5 minutes after the meet time) start walking. Others can join us, sit by the sidelines and wave at us, or just stay in a sleep. It is vacation and is supposed to be fun after all.

I'll put 7:30 down as the main walk and 8:30 as the alternate walk time.
