This morning, watching the Today Show, Katie and Matt were in Anguilla for the Destination Wedding.

Katie said the water was 78 degrees!!!!!

And I think it was Matt who mentioned they were only 6 miles from St. Maarten.

All I could think was in a month, that was gonna be me!!!!

I set the TIVO so I could watch the rest when I get home from work tonight............

Yes, Anguilla is close and they have a ferry or something back and forth from St. Maarten. My DH knows a couple that own a restaurant there and they told us to take the ferry over and have lunch, but I don't know if we'll have time.

I have to work through the day before the cruise. The kids have school that day now as well. That is one of the many hurricane make up days for us. I'll be thinking of all of you at the Magic Kingdom as I make my normal Friday run to the gym to pick up Lisa from her class.

Ok. I just counted (it took me awhile). I have 17 "working" days left before the cruise. That makes it seem SO much closer. Now, take away the 2 days before we fly out for "coasting"; next Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving) because the office will be half empty and that leaves just 14 "working" days. Even better.

He claims it's something Daffy Duck or someone like that used to say. I don't remember it.

I started on that quiz, thought "that's none of their business!", and closed the window. I guess that means I'm priceless!

Our youth group is doing the same thing in January (I think) --- I'm glad they will keep them busy at church --- I know that things at our house get pretty bad when I accidentally let the "feeding tube" run dry. I do think it is a good experience for them --- we've served a few times to the homeless and it is really an eye opening experience.

Yes, ours does this in the early spring. DD is now in the age group that does it. Our kids go to a local store and hand out cans of soda with the label "30 hours of famine" on them. It's amazing how many people won't take them even though they're free. The idea is 1) teach your children what going without food feels like, and 2) expose others to the large amount of hungry people in the world.
