Now that wasn't so hard, was it??

NITE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning everyone.

No docs yet for me. I don't know how long they take to get over to the UK but now I will be watching the post.

It snowed yesterday and was freezing overnight so I had to chip ice off the car this morning to take the boys to school. Really made me look forward to some Caribbean sun.

It is going to be so cool being part of the DIS group on the cruise.

see, you're almost to a TOP already!
The A.M. ppl will do their grumbling in the morning. But they should be thankful that the posts are short and sweet! :)

This A.M person thanks you for the short and sweet posts. I start the coffee and try to read the posts before the coffee is finished. If that doesn't happen I am late for work.

So the PM people need to know they are responsible for me being late to work lately because of all the chatting going on.

You guys are going to make me get up early, aren't you? I won't want to miss the fun! Breakfast after?

I think we will need nourishment after our walks, agreed. I love the sit down breakfast at Luminre' Our kids usually grabbed a bite to eat at the buffet, but I prefer the quiet pace at the sitdown.

Diana - you don't have to get up for a 6am walk. I just always wake up then. I love to see the sunrise, from deck 10. I'll enjoy a cup of coffee before the walk and when everyone else is up and about we can walk. (about 7:30)

I'd love to get together! We could have a Michigan "mini-meet". Where to you board your horse? It is big horse country around here. I'd love to have one but....I'd rather have my DH :-)

We have our horse at Dave Gamble Training Center. He is in Jackson on Greenwood Rd. Just a few minutes off I-94. Dave has been an Arabian trainer for many years but just moved to Jackson this summer, which was very fortunate for us as we were looking for a new trainer. PM me about the mini meet.

Have a WONDERFUL FINALLY FRIDAY!!!!!

:flower1: Good Morning Cruisers! :flower1:

TGIF Everyone!

Wow you were a chatty group last night. 17,000 will be here before we know it.

Angie - got your e-mail and have replied!

afff - not sure which thread has the most posts but I'm sure it is one over on the community board. - well I just checked and their largest is 15,000. Maybe we are the biggest. :D

I will say that a lot of what we do on this thread would get us yelled at by a moderator on a regular thread. The "tops" where all we say is top. The "I pm'd you a response to your pm about the pm I sent". The posts counting down to a milestone. All slightly against the main rules. That, however, is what makes the cruise meets board so great. This is our little place and we can kind of do what we want - short of breaking major rules like personal attacks etc (which thankfully we've kept away from). Ok that got a little long winded. Hope I didn't offend anyone. I'm just as quilty of all these things and I think these are the things have made us all laugh and get to know each other. Hope that all makes sense and it doesn't come across like I'm on a soapbox - which honestly I'm not.

Well off to read the boards and then to work! I have an interview to give at 7 am.

Jim - I got your 3 pm's in response to my pm in response to your pm yesterday which was in response to my pm yesterday.

Got that :D

GOOD FRIDAY MORNING EVERYONE! TGIF

It's great to hear that someone already got their documents. Now I will really be looking for the UPS man. He was here yesterday but not docs.:(

Kind of a busy weekend here. Alyssa is performing at the Festival of Trees(which is a fundraiser for the hospital) on Saturday. She will be there all day and then Rich and I are going to the dinner and auction that night. Brittany is doing the "30 hour famine" put on by a local church. This is for Jr & Sr high school students and it is to make them aware of the hungry and homeless people in the world. They will start at 1:30am on Sat at home by not eating anything after this time. Then they go to the church at 7:30am. During the day they will have many activities and perform some community service. They will also build homeless shelters out of cardboard boxes. That night they will sleep in these boxes to get the feel of being a homeless person. They will attend church services the next morning and then come home. The only thing they can have the whole 30 hours is water or juice. I don't think I could go that long without food.:p But it is great for the kids and I am glad she is doing this. I better plan to have a big feast on Sunday.

Off to read the boards and then get kids off to school

Aren't we supposed to be watching for FedEx???
It's harder for us here. We get US Mail at the post office box only. We don't get US mail delivered to the house. I get UPS and FedEx ground delivered to the shop. But, if it's FedEx Home Express, it ends up at the post office, with a street address on it, but they (post office) won't deliver it, because they only do post office boxes. Whew.
Anyone actually get that????
I gave up a long time ago, and started having things delivered to my friend's house, she gets BOTH US mail and FedEx, and UPS.

Stacey, that's us too! They don't deliver mail to us out in the sticks. So whenever they ask for address, I say "physical, or mailing?" And don't get me started on the thousand ways that people can spell Saint Mary's City. Or is that St. Marys City, or STMARYSCTY, and so on and so on and so on!!!!

That's why I love Land's End. They've got me figured out! UPS to my door. Got one last night.

Only 3-4 more months of this, and we'll be in our new house. Which will be California, MD. Oh no, more confusion. "City?" "California". "No maam, the city, not the state". Our city IS California, state is Maryland!! The first house we bought out here was in Issue MD. The first time I phoned in a catalog order, when I said "Issue", she said "Bless you". The joys of rural Maryland names!

For those of you who don't want to walk you can always do what my mom used to do when I cruised with her. She'd go get a cup of coffee and chat with people near by. Then when I'd walk by she'd wave at me.

I'd love to walk, but I need to be with the 'slower' group...not quite sitting yet!

btw, will you tell the Handsome Handyman that whatever the plumber did the other day did NOT work :( :(

What a bummer! Although, I had my doubts about the viability of that process even from long distance.

Get the plumbers boss or maybe the "other brother, Darrel", that guy sounds like a Maroon!

Good Friday Morning Cruisers!

Well, last weekend of the year for me to do this:

Boogity Boogity Boogity!

Translation: Last Nascar race weekend of the year. In a way have to say glad it's over. The people running it don't have a clue and it's really frustrating. But I've been enjoying the races themselves, so that's good enough for me.

Ohiominnie, what kind of piping is this? For drains, it can be cast iron, copper or pvc.

Who is up for chat tonight? I should be there.
