Mary Ann - I sent you a pm. I think you can help.

Linda - seaulater - sent you one as well.

I'm so glad I heard from Debs!!!!! Not sure why your e-mails didn't get to me but glad to hear you are still coming.

Mary Ann is going to try and get the reservation numbers I'm missing and I may try and go through Dreams like she did.

Bottom line Debbie told me she was for congierge only (and the REAS). The do have a group dining coordinator but those are for groups that are together (like when Virgil goes with his hospital next year).

So if you were on the early dining group expect a pm from Mary Ann and please give her your info.

Thanks everyone - off to work I go. Hopefully it will be a much better day all around. ::yes::

Mary, you did NOT screw things up. My view is that if people WANTED to sit together and be an active part of this group and this friendship, than they wouldn't have been out of touch for months and months (maybe that's me, but if they had WANTED to be part of the group, they'd have made SOME effort.)

Good morning cruisers. I gather magiroux is handling early dining. If not, I'm willing to take it on too. Let me know what's up.

WOMEN Vs MEN
Women's Revenge
"Cash, check or charge?" I asked, after folding the
items the woman wished to
purchase. As she fumbled for her wallet I noticed a
remote control for a
television set in her purse. "So, do you always
carry your TV remote?" I asked.

"No," she replied, "but my husband refused to come
shopping with me, so I figured this was the most legal evil thing I could do to him.

I am so HAPPY that someone or a few of you are going to work on the early dining. Have a wonderful time. I will be thinking of you all and I am thrilled you all will get to sit together. Happy Cruising-Gail

Hi Everyone - I have a question about the MVMCP... I read somewhere, can't remember if it was on this thread or somewhere else, that if you have tickets to the MVMCP that you can get into the park at around 4 pm without having to use your regular park pass. Do any of you experienced park goers know if this is true?
Annie
I'm not sure if you can get in that early without a PS for dinner. I was able to get in last year at 5:30 with no problem and my parents went in around 6:00. The party is from 7:00-Midnight.
Hope this helps a bit.

Teresa - Mary Ann is collecting resevation numbers for me and I'm going to contact Dreams to see if they can help. If they can't maybe I'll call on you to lend a hand - thanks for the offer.

Good morning all. I sure hope this seating thing works out well. But Mary, you have done so much to make this cruise an enjoyable event. I feel badly that you are upset over this! Please know that we all understand that you did what you could. I really do feel like this cruise will be a "reunion" cruise since we all really know a lot about each other.

I think DH has decided to bow out of our weekend DC area meets. So I know I made the right decision to not link our seating. He's just a grump when it comes to things like this. Good thing I love him, huh???

Vicki/GaRry, I'll pm you on the shirts. Please let me know about the check and I'll get it in the mail to you.

I should be in chat tonight barring anything unusual coming up.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Just wanted to say good morning to everyone. I can't usually get on to this site at school because the county has websites blocked with message boards. Somehow, I got around it - don't know how or why. Can't believe how close we are - seems like we've all been planning all this forever!
Woke up this morning with full-blown laryngitis. DH couldn't believe that I was still going to school, but it's Fun Friday so I won't have to speak to the little darlings very much. Lots of computer time and then puzzles and the like. The kids think I've lost my mind along with my voice. Fun Friday has never been THIS much fun!
Heard we're getting a cold front this weekend. YAY!!! it might get down to 70 degrees. Break out the sweaters:Pinkbounc
I'm meeting DD at WDW next weekend. It's our annual mother daughter bonding time during Super Soap Weekend. I'm sure I'll pick up a few more decorations while I'm there for on the cruise. I'll probably decorate more this year than any other time. This ha really gotten me in the spirit.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Cindy

Sounds like my dh. The scubas will agree. He's pretty quiet around strangers. Guess him mom taught him well not to talk to strangers! I think it's b/c he works so hard and uses his free time to be with his family that he doesn't want to share. :)

Good Friday Morning Everyone!!!

With the group we now have for the wine party, I have to agree that it might be better to move it to the Deck 7 Aft area. The only problem I see there is that there are no tables so we might have to figure something out. We stayed in 8102 two years ago and although the verandah is extra big I don't think it will hold the numbers we have now. Another idea might be to check with concierge once we get on board to see if they can help any. And Vicki was correct, everyone can order wine glassed from room service and bring their own glasses. One other thought. Although it would not be as nice as a verandah, we could also check into those rooms they have on Deck 1 or 2, where they hold some of the meetings, like the Bill W meetings. This is probably something we could check out with concierge.

Mary - please let me know if you are still having problems with linking the dinning reservations. I can always help out if you need me too, especially since I talk to Debbie all the time.

I was trying to come up with a few "rules" for the "Tag, You're It" game and I have a question.

Should we determine how long the "Tag" should remain on your door before you move it, or just let everyone do it on their own. I was originally thinking about changing it every evening and leaving it there until the next evening, but that only allows 10 "Tags". So what does everyone think? And do you think we should keep track of the "Tag" just in case it should get swiped by someone?

I am going to do a search for the original thread to see if they say what they did.

Thanks for the help.

I'd say when you find it on your door, tag someone else. If you're rushing off to dinner or something and don't have time right then, move it to the next TAG door as soon as you can. That will probably mean that people will be tagged more than once over the course of the cruise, but that could be very fun!

If anyone gets upgraded at the port this could cause problems. An "old room" could get tagged and the new occupants would have no idea what to do with it. I wonder if it should have something posted on it like "If you've received this tag in error, please stick it to room XXXX."

No idea how much upgrading will happen as this cruise is probably sold out and there is no wiggle room anyway.

Leilani, I vote for no rules for the TAG game. When you find it, you try to move it. If you don't have time right then, leave it on your door until you do. We probably shouldn't have too attractive of a tag, though.

Gail, I got your e-mail, I'll write back soon. Today is Estate Sale day.

Lisa and Karen, you probably already know this, but introversion is often a trait of people of high intelligence.

Karen & Diana - that sounds great to me. We'll just say that when you get it on your door just move it as soon as you get a chance. And Karen, that's a great idea about putting the "if you get this in error" message. I will do that.

Are we going to sign it or something when we get it? That way we can tell where it's been and where it still needs to go so that no one is left out.

HA HA HA!! I'll have to tell him you said that. Of course, he'll still like you b/c you're the one who introduced him to the iPod. Me, on the other hand...... ;)
