Oh, I didn't even take it that way!! No, you didn't insult me or imply I'm hurting my dog. Sorry for making you think I did. She seems to be ok now and has spent very little time on her back legs today!! :) It's a definite improvement over what she was doing. Plus, she hasn't jumped on the kids ONE time and they are having a LOT more fun with her now that they aren't "scared" of her anymore!!

Sorry if my post came across wrong.

I'm glad I didn't insult you. I have foot-in-mouth disease sometimes. I like to stick my nose where it doesn't belong.

She probably just has to get used to being "reprimanded". I know my dog REALLY sulks if I yell at him for anything (DH is the "enforcer" with him usually). He knows if I yell, he's been really bad.::yes::

Like this one:

A man went to the market this last week to buy Valentines' cards for his daughter and mother. The 50 feet of displays for hundreds of cards astounded him. He muttered out loud, "I wonder if they have cards for ex-spouses."

The clerk behind the counter said, "Oh, yes sir, they do have an 'ex' category, but they're in Sporting Goods."

"Really?"

"Yes sir. They're called bullets."

You Hired The Wrong Kid To Mow Your Lawn If . . .

On the side of his mower you notice the stenciled silhouettes of 13 cats

Always trying to impress you by stopping the mower blades with his head

He's fascinated by the details of you home security system

Stops every couple of minutes to smoke some clippings

Somehow manages to mow the hood ornament off your Lexus

Turns a goat loose and says he'll be back in three weeks

Once again, Jenny....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ohminnie..I think you can easily catch up. I'm going to be gone on Sunday. And next weekend. Repeat after me..."I think I can, I think I can..."

OK.....another question from a newbie.

With all the wine discussions we are having........Are there corkscrews in our rooms? Or must I pack one?

Thanks

Are you allowed to do that? I LOVE starting in Parrot Cay. Every cruise has started in Parrot Cay. I'm not sure what I'd do if I had to start somewhere else. I know concierge ppl can request this, but can your average Joe.....or average Karen? ;)

Yes, anyone can switch rotations if the dining room as room to move you. we did that this summer. We were going to Palo's on the the 2nd night of the 3 day cruise and I wanted to miss Animators Palate of the 3 restaurants. Jim went to where they were dining room adjustments (usually where they are taking the Palo reservations) and switched us. We were category 11 for that cruise, so obviously the category wasn't an issue.

Selfishly, I am hoping you will be on the same dining rotation as the Early Dining Group. Even if you don't sit near us, it would be nice to have you on the same rotation. Lisa and KT could go to the program after dinner together. No matter what you choose, I know you will have an enjoyable time.

Thanks Kevin......

Did I ever tell you the story on our honeymoon, when I forgot to pack the hatchet for our camping trip to Yellowstone Park.

I threw it into the carry-on last second and tried to bring it on board. ( not really thinking anything of it )

Well some heads turned there.

Ok.......... pack corkscrew in suitcase and check same.
My list is growing.

Hope everyone has a great evening.

Does the early dining group have a predetermined rotation? And can I request that rotation BEFORE I cruise???? Can I call someone?

I figure we're on PTA because of the ages of our kids. But I don't want to chance that.

Ohminnie...I have no idea how to request a dining rotation. Our first two cruises were on the Wonder, and we took what they gave us. Had no idea that I could change them. Although, I had read what you might expect.
We had (both times) PTA. The kids were younger than I had thought for that rotation, but I guess since we were late dining, that's where they put us.
For this cruise, so far, it doesn't seem to matter what the rotation is, because we don't know which nights are which.
For the Mexican Riviera, which we are assuming is the same as any other 7-night, I am going to try to request (through my TA) APLAPLA....it would fit right in with the "formal" nights.
