Sorry Denise - not trying to rub it in at all. Just that I have been so stressed lately thinking I wouldn't get it all done. Just feel really happy that most of it is done and I can now enjoy the season. Didn't mean to make you or anyone else feel bad.

Good for you woman. I have to keep unpacking the cat and the like from our luggage so who knows what will show up on the ship.

Denise, our little kitty guy does the same thing. He knows what happens when the luggage shows up.

Christine, I think the kids are working out the details of the exchange on their own. I think they may be close to a concensus!

Forgot to say - went to see Christmas with the Kranks.... while it has gotten terrible reviews - everywhere...... We loved it.... DW, DD and I laughed so hard that we cried.... while there were some slow spots toward the end..... it was a very funny movie for us.....

I think that it had to do with the premise that they were going on a 10 day cruise at Christmas... and not celebrating much at home.... Don't know where we might have heard that script before...

I used to travel a lot on business. My dog would take stuff out of the open suitcase, I guess he just didn't want me to go. Now the dogs just glare and stare when I bring out the luggage.

Going to the movies at the theatre is still a distant thought for us. We have to wait till it comes out on dvd or pay the babysitter.

I am so looking forward to putting my toes in the sand ,and seeing if I can actually snorkel. Is thew water really as beautiful as I hear? (rookey)

Good Evening all - I just got back from our weekend away... We were at DH's work Christmas party and they held it at a dinner theatre. The play was great (Miracle on 11th Street), but could have started earlier in the evening... DD and I had shopped all day and we were getting pretty tired by the time the play was over.

Stacey - several pages back you asked what Boxing Day is... That's the day after Christmas and is the best "sale" day of the year. It is a statutory holiday in Canada, I always assumed it was in the US, too... This may sound crazy but we usually do a bunch of christmas shopping for the following year on this day because you get the best deals.

Vikki - hope all goes well on Tuesday you are in our thouhts and prayers...

GarRy - we will be leaving on the 10th so I don't think t-shirts would make it to our place. Is it okay to pick them up and pay for them on the 18th?

Mary and Mark - thanks for everything you've been doing...

A huge thank you to everyone who is doing so much to make this the best cruise ever!!!

Hmm.. because of the cost, or they get fidgety? You might want to look into something, one of the local theaters here has a specific day thing for moms with kids.

I'm finally caught up with reading the posts. Have not been on since Tuesday. First company arrived Tues evening, 43 for Thanksgiving dinner, some of them went shopping Fri morning, but not me this year. 35 of us then met for breakfast at 10 then went on a winery tour. Did LOTS of tasting and some buying. Game night at DD's on Friday night. Saturday was a bit of a down time day, but we did get to visit with grandkids some. Last of the company (DS, DDIL and DGS)left at 11 this morning for home in Arizona. Now I am cleaning again. Washing all the tablecloths and getting ready for work tomorrow.

Mark, It has to do with the fact of fiddgety, questioning, vivacous wee ones. Also the $10/hour fee we pay our sitter. Oh well its not all that bad. We have resorted to one of us taking DD5 and the other going to the playground with DD2.
We are going away this weekend just DH and me

Angie, The company we booked through told us we wouldn't be receiving the docs until 2 weeks before sailing.

Yeah - the button king is done. We have all the buttons sorted into baggies and each bag is labeled. If you see us at the terminal we will be happy to give you your button there. If not be sure and come to the DIS meet at 3pm, deck 10 to pick them up.

We just weighed the box and we have 4.5 lbs. worth of buttons. Good thing we are shipping them ahead

Now to print up the Navigators. Gus I had gotten a couple of other reqeusts as well so I have made your room change.

We just got caught up on our weekend newspaper and apparently UPS just went out on strike. AACK!!! They're probably picketing around our documents as we speak... I'll have to talk to DU and see if they can re-send them...

Glad you made it back. Books on tape are wonderful company. I can't listen to them in the car cause I get into the book and forget to pay attention

I once drove straight through from Texas to Michigan because I was listening to a book on tape. DW won't let me listen to them if I am driving a motorhome. Say's it is not good for our relationship. DS was 6 months at the time and I thought he was doing fine, but than how would I know, I was listening to the book.

Can you use the onboard computers to upload photos to an online album? Or is it strictly read/send email type of access?

Also, does anyone know the dimensions of the standard stateroom safe? Or know where I can obtain them? Just wondering if our laptop would fit? I know you guys know almost everything!! Despite being on the ship several times I can't remember anything!! I belive this is CRS syndrome...

It's strictly email and web surfing... you can't upload any pictures or anything.....

Nope - laptop won't fit..... best thing is to buy one of the laptop locks and secure it to something if you're worried....

I wish that you could send pictures via the internet- as my parents have a Ceiva picture receiver - and we would love to be able to send them current pictures from the cruise....
