I forgot to say, way back when we were talking about kids and their KTTW cards....we have the lanyards that have the plactic holder that the card can slide into. One is a DIS lanyard.
Jared will be using that kind, so we don't have to risk punching a hole in his card.

Yes, dear, and I think being a Grandpa would be it.

DH informs me that we DO have a turkey coming. His company provides. I'm wondering now if they also provide the stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, pumpkin pie, and oh, someone to cook it all.

I'm into quick gratification cooking myself.

I'm doing a quick check-in before heading to work and the airport. Glad I did.

I normally don't cook a turkey for Thanksgiving because we are always with some family some where. But this year I was thinking of doing one with a Honey Glaze on it. I may do it before the cruise sometime. Scuba family prefer a prime rib which I am going to make on Sunday. It's much easier than a turkey. I may stuff the prime rib with crab as something different.

I think Mary is absolutely correct on thawing the turkey. Put it in the refrig and than water bath it. Don't give it a bubble bath, the bubbles are really hard to get out.

If we take off the charging priveleges from the children's cards, why would they still need them?

I wandered into ebay last night looking for disney candy and I bid on some light up mickey necklaces. The girls will have fun with them on board (including me!) You all probably know this but Disney has sort of a surplus store at ebay.

Have any of you ever brined a turkey? It is great and maybe would help the turkey thaw faster? The problem with a 22 lb turkey to brine, though, is you need a tub preferably with a lid (I use a rubbermaid storage tub) that both fits your turkey AND fits in the fridge.

the card is like your driver lic. you NEED it to get in your room off the ship things like that. if you are off ship and lose it !!!!!
You will have a very hard time getting back on.
so everyone needs that card.

Dee - the picture of your son is too cute. I think I might have to keep my 8yo DD away from him, he is going to break hearts some day.

Stacey - if the turkey thing doesn't work out, you can always fly up to Vegas. I am making dinner at Mom's house.
