Hi Everyone! This is Diana, on Alicia's laptop. Looks like there are some new people posting too. Don't have time to read all the posts (dial-up), but did want to chime in. We ARE getting the remnants of TS Matthew, rain most of the day yesterday and today. It was nice yesterday evening though. Not sure what we're doing today in the rain, but Mickey's party is tonight.

If anyone is coming to Food & Wine soon, we have a couple of recommendations! The Coco Polada wine at the FL booth is really good, and Kevin's new favorite: Banfi Rosa Regale sparkling wine, but only with hazlenut chocoloate flourless cake, both available in Italy. Alicia likes the potstickers in China.

We watched Illuminations from our balcony at BCV last night, then headed down to the hot tub, ain't that the life? Almost as good as the cruise!

More when we get home!

I have a couple bottles of this in my new wine rack. The winery is located in St. Petersburg and they have different varities of wine made from various fruits. The orange wine with chocolate is very good too.

Good Morning everyone... Just thought I'd pop in and say "hi"... We had a "turkey" weekend at our house for Thanksgiving... We had company from out of town, and did the big turkey dinner at our house on Sunday. Last night -- leftovers.. MMMMM As much as I love a turkey dinner, I don't love the clean up that's involved afterward so I have to say that I will be thoroughly enjoying being served my next turkey dinner on the Magic on Christmas Day...

Stacey - hope this morning was better than yesterday.

Mary Ann - sorry about that, I wasn't paying attention when I typed it in, try this one for Diana - Dancind.

Charlotte - DH is the same as everyone else, just bringing shoes and renting clubs. It's too much of a hassle to drag his clubs on the cruise.

Gotta go read the boards and do some ordering online. Everyone have a great day.

Mary Ann - I meant to tell you that my DD also loves the club. As a matter of fact it is hard to get her out of there. She usually likes to take a swim sometime during the day but otherwise she is in the club. Did you say that you and DD are on the 9am pirate excursion in St Lucia. The girls and I are also doing that excursion.

Gus - We like late seating because we felt rushed when we had early seating for dinner. Plus, I don't make DD(Alyssa -8) eat dinner with us so it works out great for all of us. The major evening event is usually happening in the club during late seating so we just feed her early or let her eat with the club. It really is just a matter of preference, there are many people who really like early seating and hate to eat dinner so late.

Well, early seating works best for my family, especially my DD (10). Lisa likes to eat dinner with us. She doesn't like the choices if she eats with the group. I know my kids are spoiled with Jim's cooking, so they are definately eating off the Main Menu - no chicken fingers for them.
We have tried late seating before, but it interferes with the activities in the Lab and she loves those. Also, if she eats earlier she is good to go until midnight. If she eats later, she starts slowing down at dinner and has fallen asleep there many times. She is then disappointed to have missed the events in the Lab at night. When she does fall asleep in a restarurant, her Dad has been known to carry her out of the restaurant like "Simba" (Think about how they hold the lion cub at the end of the Lion King). She prefers that doesn't ever occur again, but if she falls asleep, you just never know . . .
I think there are 5 or 6 10 year old girls from this DIS group, so they should have fun together. Lisa is getting to meet OhioMinnie's KT this Saturday at the Magic Kingdom.

They seem very nice. It is a small group. I still miss you all thinking about it but the more I get to meet the better. You all hold a special place in my heart as I have been on this thread for over 15 months now!!!!!!! Hard to believe that time is a flying.
