Just got off the phone again with DCL to comfirm our 9am Pirate excursion again! I did not get the fax and asked that they just mail me a copy of the confirmation. Now if I just knew what else we are going to do so I can book those too. I am trying not to get stressed over this stuff, its supposed to be FUN!!!

It appears that the St. Lucia excursions are now in the computer. I received a new fax a few minutes ago that now included our St. Lucia excursion.

You're right. If you are a big enthusiast about something - i.e. scuba, cycling, kayaking etc. - the sponsored excursions may leave you wanting more. Sometimes it is better to make your own arrangements.

Tina, we are doing Atlantas on our own. The Atlantis office is right at the cruise port. DCL will not let us book it with DS age. DCL is requiring that he be 4 years old. I was informed by Atlantis that there requirment is a height of 36 inches. Have to go pick up the children from school. Talk to you all later. Gail

Karen - I agree with you! Excursions are just the icing on the cake and getting to experience them with new found friends just makes it even better!

Our fax just came in showing all our excursions are in order. Yeah! One more thing to cross off the list.

I also got my shoes for formal night - another yeah!

I'm so ready for this cruise. Too bad I have to go back to work for 12 1/2 more weeks

Speaking of formal shoes, I found the web site if anyone is interested. They sell dance shoes only, but you can get them in different heel heights, different widths, and with padding in the footpad. They even have some on sale. Mine are Werner Kern, and they feel really nice. The ballroom shoes will have suede soles, so you do have to be careful where you wear them.

Only home for a bit...Jordan has dance. What a beautiful day it was today. Our temp only got up to about 86.

Not a whole lot else going on around here.....
I'm glad everyone got all of their excursions taken care of.

I'll check in to say goodnight when we get home....not until close to 9:00.

I think since it's in Palo, no shorts etc. But the guys don't have to wear a jacket, I don't think. "Resort casual" will do, I think. Sundress, pants, nice polo and slacks for guys.

I am hoping DW can look at some excursions soon.....I am getting very antsy, as it seems everyone has booked already.

I getting very afraid it will be sold out by the time we get our act together.

Too bad I can not just book now and cancel later if she is not interested.

Gus, You can book now and you have up to 2 days before you cruise to cancel the excursions. Gail

Gus - I have to second what Gail said. You can go ahead and book excursions and then cancel them later if need be. If there is something you might be interested in (like Pirate Cruise) that seems to be pretty popular I would go ahead and book it and then talk to DW.

I just got off the phone with DCL and it looks like all of our excursions are squared away. They are even showing the one on St Maarten now.

I am off to watch Monday Night Football with some friends at a local restaurant so I wll try to check back in later when I get home.

Well, auditions went (?) well, I guess. I goofed up. They faxed me scripts of different scenes. I thought the point was to memorize them. So the kids did. But they were apparently allowed to use their scripts during the audtion so they could also focus on emotion and presentation. Well, my kids knew their lines nearly backwards and forwards, but fell a bit flat on saying them with feeling. We'll find out Friday about the James and the Giant Peach part. If KT gets it, the rehearsals and performances are GRUELING! But it'll look good on her Disney resume!
