We're not sure what we'll do that's new. I want to try the Palo Brunch, but other than that I don't know of anything different that we'll do. We haven't done Palo for dinner yet, but we don't really want to miss the dining room and the menu doesn't really have much on it that sounds good.

My wife has personalized plates on her car. The plate says "IBSHARI". You kind of have to see the license plate frame to get the full effect.

The top of the frame says "I know who I be"

The bottom of the frame says "Who be you"

My wifes name is Shari.

Pearl Jam

I want to do the spa too.....never have.
And I want to go to one of the clubs....never have.
I want some time to just explore, maybe play Bingo...do nothing.
We've only done the 3 & 4 nights...so not much time to do nothing.

Did I say I was going to go do something?
I did, I put a load of clothes in the wash....that's something.

I AM shy....I AM I AM I AM!! Just ask Paul!

That's cute, Ken.
I used to have NO TIME......with a White Rabbit bumper sticker.

There's an obstetrician in town and his plate says STORK

Easy, Pearl Jam. :)

That's our other obsession. DH went to 7 of their shows last year and I went to 6. We have 3 shows to go to this year. Two at the end of September and 1 on October 8th. We're flying to Florida for the show in October. It's in Kissimmee. We get to do our 2 favorite things in one trip. It's great. It gave us a chance to go to the House of Mouse once more this year. Luckily we're DVC owners, so we don't have to pay for our room - plus we bought annual passes when we went in December. We got our money's worth out of those. We went in December, May and now October. Three times in one year - that's a record for us.

When we got my car, a Pontiac Vibe, DH said we should get a plate that says RATOR, but I shot that one down. NOT what I want to be driving around with on my car:rolleyes:

First, keep in mind that I am OLD.....but I keep trying to convince my kids that I'm cool.
It took me a few minutes.....:rotfl: :rotfl: but I got it. Actually, I think your DH is quite clever!

I thought it was funny but there was no way I was going to put that on my car.

Sure Stacey, you're shy, we believe you.

Guess what else Oriental Trading has? Suction cup holiday pen/pencil holders.....going to order us some of those, too. Have to have something to write on those note pads with!

Oh, that's something else. We want to try the Palo brunch. We've done dinner there. It was pretty good. Was it great? No. But the souffle made the meal. In fact, next time I'm ordering three souffles FOR my meal. Then I'll get one for dessert. :) We also had a great server who took a lot of time to chat with us (some may have found this annoying....a "go away already" kind of thing)

We did almost have a wine emergency. ohiomickey and I were QUITE nervous about it. We wanted to get one of the wines off of our wine package list. The server said "oh, this is a special night, why not get something really special." So we say alright. We have NO idea anything about wines, so we suggest he pick based on what we had ordered.

He ends up coming back and taking our wine glasses and exchanging them for these big round goblets, explaining to us that they ONLY use these special CRYSTAL glasses for their reserve list wines. They enhance the bouquet and flavor of the wine. He then says he'll be right back with our wine. We look around. NO ONE ESLE in Palo has "special CRYSTAL glasses." They all have regular joe-schmo glasses. We are VERY VERY afraid of our wine bill. What do we say at that point? "uh, if this is an expensive wine, we don't want it." ???

Ended up the wine was only about $15-20 more than the alloted $38 we had with our package deal. We were EXPECTING it to be $50-$100 more, so we were happy. The wine itself? Alright, I guess. It was very hard to drink out of those "special CRYSTAL glasses." I'd have preferred my Fess Parker Chardonay from my package. :)

Doing new stuff or seeing new things is always exciting.

I'm anxious to dive in some new spots; St. Lucia and Antigua.

Just being on board for Christmas will be a quit an experience if it's anything like what they do at the parks.

I want to do the spa too.....never have

Now Stacey, since you are such the high roller and all in Vegas, I can't believe you've never done the DCL spa!!!!!!

Never had time....the 3 day, we were "newbies" and I was overwhelmed by the whole thing.
The 4 day was for the wedding, and I don't remember even being on the ship.

I have gone to the spas in Vegas....love facials! But I only walked through the Vista spa to go to the gym.......to look at the bridge.

The girls had their hair done at the Vista spa....so I HAVE paid for the DCL spa!! LOL

Ok, we have spent a small fortune in services at the Vista Spa over the course of 7 cruises. At one point we knew quite a few of the Vista/Steiner employees and corresponded frequently via email between cruises. If you need help sorting out which treatments to take we'd be glad to help. My favorite is the absolute face and body! I fall asleep everytime without fail! It is so relaxing! I am already getting worried about how much we will spend in the spa over the course of 10 days!

That Verandah Man is awesome! We were supposed to cruise with him and Rae519 on the 4/30/05 Eastern cruise. We booked while onboard 5/04. By the time we got back home, we found out that they had changed to the Repo cruise. :( It'd be fun to sail with them someday. I think Andy has dropped out of that one, too. Not sure about Rae.

I've got it.......I've got it!!!!!

TOOTH FIXER!!!!!!

What do I win? Free dinner on the cruise?

Linda:teeth:

Yeah, good plate for a dentist. Kevin used to have "2STEPR".

Wonder if they have "natural" stuff at the spa. I like facials too. DD loves getting manicures and is very interested in getting a pedicure. I might get her one of those teen special packages. But if I do that, I should get a package too!

I'm looking forward to some night life on the ship. We kind of missed that last time. And maybe going to the adult beach on CC.

Can't believe I forgot to add that we are DVC members too! We love our DVC, we've got three nights at OKW after the cruise, and it's "free".

Lynda and Cash - What made you decide against the Pirate Excursion? I was thinking about it but my Mom has limited mobility. Thanks, Sue

Free Dinner for you!

Now, for the bonus question (actually, after talking to ohiomickey, I realized I had the wrong plate)

The REAL plate says:

23PAIR
