Don't know about Castaway Cay, but Scuba Diver and family are doing a jet ski excursion at Key West, I think on their own. Maybe he will fill us in.

Here are the details for the jet ski tour we are using in Key West. I posted this earlier so for some this is a rerun.

We are using Island Watersports. It is at the Hilton Maria which is right where DC docks. Just walk off the ship and it is there. Their web sit is www.islandwatersports.us (not com). They have guided tours in the afternoon that run about 2 hours. We are on the 1:30 tour so we can be back for a shower and the sunset. The jetski can handle up to 3 people and the cost is around $90.

Come join us on the 1:30 tour!

Good morning everyone.

David, I would appreciate it if you could e mail me or pm me your phone number again. I am sorry I must of deleted it by accident. We are returning on 8/29. I wil give you a call and we will get the family's together. Less than 4 months to go. Time is a flying.

Stacey, What is pm taged?????

TTYL-Have a great day everyone. I will say my goodbyes to you all tonight. I will not be bringing my lap top as I need a wireless place to get on. Gail

Jim, you need to rephrase there. October is not a dive trip, it's a Food & Wine Festival trip with a dive as a BONUS! And we are not hauling the dive equipment since they provide it, YAY! Are you guys going to do Mickey's Halloween party on the 8th? I think you need to! Your DD would love it.

You are right, Kevin is a good salesman! He has you going on a dive trip and you don't even know it. To divers, every trip is a dive trip. It's just that sometimes we let our families do something different so they don't think they are going on a dive trip. I just realized I blew the big secret. Don't tell my DW because we are going to Marriott in Key Largo over Labor Day. She thinks it is to use up our Marriott points.

I'll take a look at the Halloween party for DD. Do you have a link for it?

:flower1: Good Morning Cruisers! :flower1:

Paul - my deepest apologies. It was so late here (going on 11 pm) and so after the actual fact that I thought the nation was on one feed - not broken up like regular programming. Will you forgive me please.

Stacey - ::yes::

Well off to read the rest of the boards!

Have a great day everyone!

Minnie...probably the excitement of having new people in the house. Remember, she's just a baby. One day, when she's grown, and a fantastic companion, you won't even remember how much trouble she was as a pup! I promise!

That's what ppl say. Apparently I don't remember that KT cried ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time. I've heard stories about it, and I tell ppl that, but it's not in my personal memory. :)

OM - Hang in there.... I can well remember Lauren crying for the first 6 weeks of her life....We wanted to send her back... she was a DEVIL child....

Well - got some good news today - my company is negotiating to do our annual meeting on the 4 day Easter cruise in 2006. Hope that things work out - even though I'd be busy in meetings - I'd be on the Wonder....

Have a great day - be back later...

It's all perspective........

Jim, the WDW site has very little information on Mickey's Halloween party, so I'm sending you a link to Deb Will's site via PM.

Vicki, Greggs' apology was relayed, and Alicia enjoyed it. She likes being apologized to. She asked what the first D in DD and DS stood for, and opined that in Gregg's case, it must stand for "Devillish"!

No problem Mary! I was getting ready for bed anyway. Like Stacey said I needed to get to bed to get my beauty sleep but unfortunately it didn't help!

Paul

I knew about Paul Hamm's win early in the day, it was all over the news sites. Didn't spoil the fun of watching it though. Wow, the Olympics are the ultimate reality show! It was fun watching the young women's swim team break that world record in the relay too. I'm not much of a track fan though.

Isn't it funny that the men remember the babies crying much better than the Moms do?

Good Morning.....
Pam...you're right, we wouldn't want to be taller than our guys! And they love us just the way we are. Now try to get your DH to catch up on his "Beauty Rest" before the cruise, will you?

I remember Jared's constant screaming! But the rest of my life throughout that time period is a total blur. It was non-stop, and if they would have taken him back, he'd have been gone in a heartbeat! I guess I'm glad we kept him....although he's not a teenage boy yet, so ask me in a couple of years!

Even if I know the outcome, watching the Olympics has been a thrill. Maybe it's the timing.....we needed a "solidarity" push!

Off I go. Jordan has been sick, and I've got to get her to the doctor so that we can see what's going on.
BAD MOMMY....she's been sick for a few days, I should have called him sooner.

TTFN,
Stacey

Yah, Stacey, you'd better get Jordan back to school! Here in NM, if they miss too many days of school, the parents can wind up in jail! I hope AZ is more forgiving. But won't she miss a few days for the cruise? Alicia will miss 3 days right at the end of the semester, but I doubt she will be the only kid gone. Whose idea was ending the semester in the middle of the week before Christmas anyway?

Diana-my thoughts exactly! Jamie will be missing Fri the 17th and then Mon, Tue, and Wed. When we booked the trip it didn't even cross my mind that they would go to school for part of that week! Oh well, like you said, I'm sure she won't be the anyone gone and if they want to throw me in jail, they'll have to come to the cruise ship to get me!!!!! HA!!!!!!

Linda

OMG, crying babies. I remember that very clearly. DD had colic and screamed non-stop for about 14 weeks. My MIL was a pediatric nurse for many years, and she was worried something was wrong with my DD since she would NOT settle down. Now I think that it was because she was mad at the world. DD has a pretty extreme personality (she's either up or down, and you never have to wonder if she's upset :) ), and she finally settled down at about the time she learned to roll over. I think she was just angry because she couldn't do what she wanted to do. I am always amazed at myself that I went right out and had a 2nd child after how rough the first one was. But DS was just the easiest baby! He laughed at everything, ate just about anything, and was just a really easy child.

As far as missing school, we're planning on leaving the 15th to do those 2 days at the world before the cruise. If flights work out like I want, the kids will miss 2 1/2 days of school. I know many many people who take their kids out of school around the holiday, so I'm not worried about it.

I've been watching the Olympics at night, and I almost never watch TV. I just really enjoy seeing those kids doing their best. I went to bed before Paul Homm finished up, but I was just amazed at how he did the rings, even though he was in such obvious pain!

Whoever asked about jet skies on CC, a recent trip report said that they do have them now. They are part of an eco type tour. The trip report person enjoyed the excursion, but did say it was pricey (like any DCL excursion is cheap!)

We're back.....doctor put Jordan on prescription Zantac 150 mg 2x a day. Thinks that should help. I hope so, because I just looked at the school's calendar...you're right!
I can't believe that they quit school in the middle of the week!
They've never done that before. In fact, it has always been that Thurs & Fri (for example the 16th & 17th) were wasted half days!
I had no idea they are now going to miss Fri, Mon & Tues.
Oh well....they'll just have to come hunt us down.
And that was the first thing DH asked me when we talked about doing this cruise......he didn't want them to miss school.

Now watch, there will be a line of "agents" at port, waiting to handcuff all of us bad parents and haul us off.
At least it will be after the cruise!!!

That's right! Handcuff me. Send the DH and kids all home. Then when I get out of jail, I will conveniently have to make a trip to WDW for a couple of days, and then I'll fly home after that!!!!

I can always make lemonade out of lemons!!!!!!

Linda

I want DD to homeschool so we can vacation whenever we want. She kind of likes going to school though.

The Olympics are going to be great again tonight. Go Carly! Go Michael! There's a thread over on the Community Board about the Olympic swimmers, kind of like our discussion about the bartender at the R&C. I'm going to have to go see if they're talking about Aaron Piersol.

And maybe, by some miracle of miracles, they will have unpacked, and done all the laundry!!!
Geez....wake me up, I'm dreaming!!!

I just signed Cash up for a Service Dog training class that's being held during a 7-day Eastern Caribbean cruise in November......Now THAT is school!:Pinkbounc

Yup, a perk of homeschooling. One of the big reasons we do it. That an we live in a yucky district.
