Hi everyone!

Yikes! Big-time computer problems hit again yesterday, so I'm checking in from a Kinkos. I think someone will be shopping for a new computer verrrrrrry soon! ::yes:: (That's what I get for trying to be a pirate: and snatch post #12,000 from gaRry! Wore out my computer!)

Wow..........15 pages of posts to catch up on!

Jenny - Your posts are too funny!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Gus - PM me your pirate name........I can handle it!

tinksdad - I loved the blonde jokes! Here's one we used to tell in the 'ole college days about (sorry ohiominnie) Ohio State:

Why do they use artificial turf for the Ohio State University football stadium?
To keep their cheerleaders from grazing on the field.

:duck:

A T.O.P.!!

Whoo hoo!

Kevin - Forgot to say.....loved the 1st grade story, too!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Lynda - That's just nuts you should have to go through all that ($*% with hotels and all. Now, quick question - is it the computer here at Kinkos, or did your posting pic get fuzzy all of a sudden?

Bingo!
Lots of blue "water" and sailboats...Red house on top. I thought the house was out of proportion to the size of the cake but that's what happens when you park a house on a cake.....

Sure looked tasty, too. I'm worried about the buttercream ones a little. I really think they'll melt in the tropical heat...

Go for the chocolate ones....

That's the one they did. It did look tasty didn't it.

I'll even share my shoe size......

I try not to be ask personal questions. Sometimes my perception of too personal is different than the other person's. I don't need to know you shoe size by the way.

The ride was great - thanks for asking. 486 miles. No flats and no rain - so it was just about perfect. We raised about $650,000 for the Arthritis Foundation.

My bike and I are still enjoying some time apart.

Ken

Ken - that is wonderful news. Great job!

Oh, and DCL must be working through dinner stuff. When we booked last Dec. we were all on the main seating for dinner (13 of us) and then when I converted our stateroom to DVC points at the 11 month window, we had to take the late for the 3 of us and they waitlisted us for the main. We could keep the same stateroom, but couldn't keep our dinner ressie.

Anyway, called DVC just a minute ago to ask a question about the member cruise that we are 95% sure that we are booking, and I had Kimberly call over to DCL and see if our wait list had come through yet. FINALLY........................we are now reconnected with the kids/grandkids and we get to eat early together.

So, that brings up the question, has the main seating been turned in to DCL yet? If not, we could join the masses and sit in the same area as the rest of you guys. Let me know. I can't remember who was doing the main seating. I think maybe Gail and now maybe Leilani?

Okay, back to those budgets......

Linda

Main seating would be me. Can you drop me a pm or e-mail with all the full names and cabin numbers of everyone in your party. I'll send it along. I've got another family to add as well.

I'm still waiting for Paul to tell me HIS shoe size!
I ask a lot of personal questions......

Glenelgmom, you princess: pirate: !

Okay, Kevin.....all is forgiven....thanks to your funny story.

Speaking of which...I forgot to tell my story from last night.
Sound asleep.....3 a.m......I hear Jay say "Stace, are you awake?"
....."No, dear, it's 3 am and I am just resting my eyes"
"Do you smell something?", he says. Now, if I had been awake, I could have come back with something funny...because with him around, I always smell something.....
"Does that smell like skunk, or fire?" Okay, he has my attention now. Eyes are still shut, though. (I have this horrible fear of fire)

sniff, sniff Eeewww......SKUNK!!
We have been sleeping with our bedroom patio door open.....within minutes, the whole house stunk.
Jay goes outside to look around....I'm fearing that Molly "got it" again....he's fearing that he caught the thing in his "Have A Heart" trap. Neither of those happened...no idea why the skunk decided to back up to our door and let loose....
But it still stinks in here.

GO SOX!!!!

Not necessesarily a Red Sox fan, but totally can't stand the Yankees. I still can't believe what they tried to pull last night!

Charlotte - sorry to hear about your computer problems.

GUS - ok I want to join the club. Please send a pm. :D

Sounds like my house.

:daisy: Stacey - We get skunks that show up at our place for no good reason, too. The joys of living in the country.

Mary - Computer problems are the worse! Especially when you're slightly addicted to catching up on all these posts!

So, have a good night everyone! Signing off from Kinkos.....going into board withdrawal mode. :sad1:

Signing off for a while...still have some of my fun little projects to finish.

I'll be back later...if the game gets boring.....

princess: pirate: T.O.P.????

I can't seem to catch this lately...someone always pops in and nabs it from me!!! AAaarrrggghhhhh

AVAST!!! Seaman Elizabeth the Horny Toe pirate: princess: !!!

Would love to join the group for dinner but I think it best to NOT subject you all to the wee ones. They don't do too well at social seatings. UGH. Late diners be warned.
-Denise

We too love to be around wee ones. Took all 5 grandkids on the cruise last Dec and had late seating. Wee ones add to the enjoyment of life.;)

Mary I've PM'd you. Thanks!

Okay, headed home with my budget work so I can watch the game. Go SOX! Stace-I'm with you, I don't care who wins, as long as it's not the dam.... Yankees!!!!

Got to stop at the store though, I have one plugged ear. Nothing like only hearing out of one side today.

Mary.......I just can't be upsetting the one and only "DIS Guru".

Someone else will have to PM you with my pirate name.

I've told Stacey, Charlotte and I think it was Jenny.

Kevin guessed it....he has seen it before.

I want to stay in your good books Mary.
