We're baaack!

The good news is...we had a blast!!! The bad news is...you'll have to wait till tomorrow to hear about it, because I can't keep my eyes open.
Let me tell you....two nicer, more fun ladies you will never meet than LeiLani and Diana! We began laughing within ten minutes time, and it didn't stop.
Almost more fun than us Moms getting together was watching the teens......we are going to have to create a "Neighborhood Watch" system on the ship for those girls!! I especially think that the bus boys best watch their backs! (Isn't that right Brittany?)
Did we have any luck? Well, I can't speak for the others, but I will say this much......I had my picture taken (by the casino people) standing next to a machine with all of its lights going off......

STACEY, WELCOME BACK!!!! Looking forward to hearing about your trip.


DD LOVED Girl Scout Sleep away camp. The three nighter was perfect for her. DD wants to go next year to a performing arts sleep away for three weeks in upstate NY to a place called Frenchwoods Performing Arts Camp. It also has Tennis, Sports, Circus, Gymnastics, two sites for Arts and Crafts, Woodworking and I could go on and on. I am so pleased that she loved it so much. She talked about it until she went to sleep!!!! It was a wonderful experience for her. I guess we will be driving up sometime this summer to see the camp.

Goota run the children are up and ready for breakfast.

Gail, glad to hear your daughter did well. I knew it would be fun for her. 3 weeks does sound like a really long time though!

One of DD's friends is moving away while she's at camp, so they're having a sleep over tonight. She asked me to pick up some t-shirts for them to paint so they'd have a memory together. I'll probably pop into chat, after our river concert, so I hope to see some of you there.

Good Morning! (Not really, I'm still half asleep)

First I have to apoligize to the teen girls.....I have been informed that it wasn't a Bus boy it was a Waiter!
Well, now, doesn't that make us feel better...waiters are OLDER than bus boys! Does DCL have bodyguards for rent???

Back to the real world of laundry and work. I can't believe the pile of mail that awaits me!

Gail, I'm glad your daughter liked camp....it always helps when they have a good experience the first time!

Doc....I tried to tell you to come with us!

Diana & DD are still in Vegas....DD is dancing her toes off by now!
So sorry we missed you the next day.....will catch up in Florida.

LeiLani, if you're reading this....hope all is well there....thank you so much for such a fun time.

Mary.....am sending a couple of pictures. After I wake up a little more.

I didn't realize that I didn't go back to get my copy of the picture they took. I didn't have my camera with me. Carried it all over town the whole time, except then. I doubt that my little win was enough to make the casino's Wall of Winners.

Anyway...it's good to be home. Too much fun for me at my age, I'm afraid. Keeping up with the young girls was a chore. Especially when they are MIA at 4:30 in the morning, found hanging out by the ice machine with some boys from Australia. Yep, DCL is in for a treat! Guess I'll go read those old threads about teenagers on the loose onboard. I'll be bringing duct tape and bungie cords.....if I have to, I'll tape her to the toilet!

What a beautiful group of young ladies (and I do mean all of you)!

Pictures from the Las Vegas Mother/Daughter meet are now up in the photo gallery.

So glad to hear that the girls really got along. How nice to be able to get on the ship and have existing friendships. That's why we are lucky as well.

Vegas looks like a great time ladies and Stacey was nice enough to give me a write up (look for it in the August newsletter). LeiLani & Diana if you want to add anything drop me a line!

If you look at the picture in the restaurant, you'll notice that the girls are holding the bottles of wine we bought for jilljill and gaRry.

If you look closer, you'll see Diana is holding a cork.

I knew we shouldn't have trusted those girls with jilljill and gaRry's wine!!!

Well - A wonderful Friday night in the ER..... 10 patients in the waiting room.... all of the beds full.... no inpatient beds - to move the 5 admitted ER patients.....It's going to be a long night....No place to put anybody to be seen.... so here I am.....
