MM is doing some good thinking tonight
But I don't think I could give away the tickets if I was there. Maybe I could round up a couple of college girls - then we might have a money maker
Well Stacey, I hate to leave you here to talk to yourself about everyone (including me) , but I must get to bed. I have mom duties to do in the morning. Oh wait, it is morning.....I guess that should have been later this morning
It rains a lot here but it's been really nice here this week.
I think my high school class had about 130 people in it. (I went to school in a small logging town). I don't think the town even had 1500 people in it.
Paul, that's about the size of the town I'm in now. My kids' schools are small. After growing up in a fairly large city, I would have never thought I be in such a small town, but I love it.
I look at it now from a "Mom" standpoint...the kids can't do anything without someone recognizing them and calling me!!!
I was just scrolling around E-Bay. I never cease to be amazed at what people sell. There is a listing for the Captain E-O 3-D glasses from Disneyland!! And a beverage cart from Adventureland in WDW. Go figure.
Actually, the beverage cart would be a pretty cool thing to have if it said WDW or Adventureland on it, but it doesn't. Would go well with my old Pepsi machine.
Paul,
As a kid, though, did you like it? I think my kids like it. I always thought my oldest hated that she couldn't get away with anything...but she claims she liked it...and she doesn't want to move away.
Stacey - I was a military brat most of my childhood until my dad was killed in a plane crash in 1968. I had always gone to larger schools and moving to a small town and going to a small school took some getting used to. Once I made some friends everything was alright. I think that kids that go to smaller schools don't get lost in the education system. I still live in a small suburb of Portland and my kids have done well in the relatively small public schools here.
Enough of my opinions. Time for bed. I'll check in again tomorrow!
