Back from all the activities for tonight, and paid the property taxes and some other bills. There went the checking account....guess it will be bread and water for a while. Well, I wanted to lose weight anyway! My DH thinks owning property is a good investment. I sure hope he's right after all these years of paying the Gov't for 7 properties. Guess how fast I'd sell them if he should happen to go Man Overboard???!!! Nah, I like him too much for that!

Thanks, GaRry....will be staring into my post office box. There are days when I hate having a P.O. box.....you go open it, and someone is standing on the other side. Scares me half to death every time Just seeing a face there, looking back at you.

Well, much as I'd love to stay up and help with the numbers, I have to go to bed. I'll leave it up to the night owls and other west coasters.

Good Morning. Happy Wednesday everyone.

I was up most of the night with our dog Harmony. (she is a 8 year old lab) Harmony had a tummy ache and left presents all over our home last night. Everytime I got up to let her out (at least 6 times) she could not make it to the door. She is now finally sleeping.
DS got up at 5:30am this morning. So I thought I would pop in early and say hello.
It is very cold in NY this morning low 20's. Shnow nad rain showers again for today and tomorrow. A large dtorm just missed us.

My DD and myself will be receiving free certificates from AA to fly after we come back from our trip to Florida in April. I called AA and ALL of the holidays are blacked out which I expected BUT they blocked out 2 weekks at a time making it impossible to go even at the beginning or end of a school vacation or holiday. The tickets are good until 4/15/04 and can be transferred from child to adult in the same family. I am looking at using them next April for a long weekend for DH 40th birthday. The RCCL cruise ship Nortic Empress will be renamed and having a major overhall this April. They have a 3 night cruise out of San Juan in April right before DH birthday. It leaves on a Friday and returns on Monday. It goes to St. Kitts and St. Marteen. I will be asking SIN and Mom if they could split the weekend. Hopefully they will. Mabye I can even squeeze in the Thursday before?? It is a shame that the tickets are good where ever AA flies but the only way to use them would be to pull DD out of school again and we really do not want to do that as she will be missing 7 school days for the
DC in December. DS could miss preschool but I would perfer him not to as we pay alot of $ for him to go to preschool. Enough babbling on this subject.

Thanks for the info. on leaving the children on the boat. I know DD and DS will be so happy. But than again mabye they will change their minds and get off the boat for a few hours.

Has anyone heard from Karyn???? I sent her an e mail and never heard back from her. I hope everything is ok????

DD just got up so it is time to go get breakfast ready and get them ready for school at 9am.

Gail, also hope the dog is feeling better. When we had our lab he had the most sensitive stomach. I used to just get so mad at DH for slipping him "just a little bit of something cause he looked so sad!" Had to replace the carpet in a couple of rooms because of the result

Diane, thanks for the email hook up. Kaylie replied last night. I hope Alicia got it. Now I just need to get DS moving toward the computer.

Hi Lisa, Our dog has a very very sensitive stomach. She can not hold #1 or #2 at night many a times. I use to get so mad also at DH and in laws for giving her table food that would make her so sick. Tomato sause was the worst. I am so sleep deprived from the dog many a nights. Between my son not sleeping well till 20 months and the dog I am surprised I functioned during the day. At least now the children sleep most of the time during the night. DD had a lond spell of getting up in the middle of the night but that has seemed to pass. Peaks and valleys. They all know now through the years that only dog food, rice , chicken or tuna fish she can handle plain. I feel bad for Harmony but I am so tired of cleaning it up all the time. She got sick on our bedroom area rug last night. Off to the cleaners it goes. Thats life. I say same stuff different house is my moto. Things could be worse. You just go with the flo. Life is to short to sweat the small stuff.


Have a great day everyone. I really have to get a move on for getting the kids ready for school. I am a little slow this am. I wonder why???

Sounds like a great plan gaRry. We're driving down when we go in May. Haven't done a road trip since October of 2001. Looking forward to it as it gives us real time to talk and unwind.

I love watching the ships sail. Of course i'd rather be on it when it is sailing, but watching is the next best thing. Both times we've sailed on the Wonder we watched the Magic leave on Saturday night. That's the best because you know the next day it is your turn

Yea!!! Just got good news for the April 11th 4 day Wonder....


We got a Cat. 3..... 8086 became available....It's a little more - but we were so spoiled on our first cruise.....

Now if we could only get one for the 10 day.....

Had to share this here with my 10 day Cruise DIS friends - as there is nobody signed up on my list for the 4 day.....
