:Pinkbounc :bounce: Lynda & Cash are back!!!!!! Yippee!

I want to have a lot of stories to catch up on when I get back!
I'm gonna go hunt me some Country Bears!

The dance recital was splendid! I had no idea my daughter could dance like that! We were all quite proud. Saw some people I hadn't seen in years, so that was nice. Great evening to keep my mind off of the excitement of leaving.

Eleven hours, and I'll be there....why am I not asleep right now??

Guess I'll go give sleep the old college try. Oh, wait.....I didn't get any sleep in college! Nevertheless, hold down the fort, guys!
Have fun.....can't wait to "see" how much fun the other travelers have had.
You men keep on earning the bucks so that the women can go to the spa!

I'll be thinking of you all....and if I find a computer somewhere, I'll pop in and say hi. Geez.....it's only 5 days.....

Have a good night, a great week next week, and:

GOOD BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY MORNING TO ALL OF THE HOLIDAY CRUISERS! SEVEN MONTHS AND COUNTING!!!

Stacey
And I'm off!!!:thewave: :thewave:

I hope someone out there can help me. My parents are joining us on this cruise, but are getting weird about us paying for it. My mom is nearly insisting that they pay part and she proposes that they pay for what it would cost in the lowest category, near the engines, no porthole and we pay the difference to cover the upgrade to a cat 6 (she says "with a verandah and a toilet!")

I know that now, a cat 12 for this sailing would be about $4,500, but that is not with an early booking discount of any sort (we booked the first 5 minutes the cruise was available) so I don't think that's a fair figure.

Is there anyone out there who booked a 12, or an 11, or even a 10 early in the booking process that could give me an idea of how much they paid? If you'd rather PM me or email me, that's fine.

I just don't want my parents getting wind of how much a cat 6 costs and then deciding not to go in order to save us money!!

TIA!

Ah yes... the FLUFF queen returns... and CASH too.....

I want Cash stories..... and Lynda stories too, of course....

Once upon a time there was a child's swimming pool...all of 4' in diameter and sea blue plastic with pictures of little fishies laid into it with some sort of technical multi-color plastic coloration procedure...very snazzy....It sat in a seaside port city in Florida awaiting summertime, the feel of clear water lapping on its sides, and the bounce of tiny bare pink feet splashing water holes clear through to its plastic-ey bottom. Such dreams went on until the little pool was purchased and flung down upon a pseudo wood ship floor (in an area hereafter known as the BAV), its colorful bottom feeding fishies covered over with 10 of the area's finest St. Augustine sod squares. The discussions that went on between the sod squares and the blue pool cannot be repeated here. Though both cried out for the feel of cool water, in the end all they got was s**t and acid rain.....

As told to me by Cash.

Hi everyone. Ohiominnie I PM you. Have a great day everyone.

Stacey, have a great trip. We will miss you. We just got back from DD piano recital. It was wonderful. She played "Yankee Doodle Dandy!"

Talk to you all later. Gail

Lynda & Cash - It's good to have you back. I really missed the "fluff"! I can't wait to hear the "Good, the Bad and the Ugly" of your trip!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding that there aren't any hidden video cameras on Haunted Mansion. The entire place is wired with pressure sensitive pads, so they can tell if someone has gotten out of their DoomBuggy. Also, did you know there was a 2 story drop between you and Madam Leota's head? Apparently someone got out once and tried to get to her head, fell and died. Hmmmm.

That was me.....and it wasn't there, but at the end of the ride, I keep telling people.....
When I slid forward on the seat to get to my feet the darn plastic stuck to my ...well, whatever....and I ended up sitting on the floor of the car with ever-helpful Cash, the Wonder Dog, trying to give me mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
It took two CMs to pry me, Cash, and the cushion apart. I can tell you, as an expert in doombuggy seating construction, there aint no pressure sensor under the seat of car number 5.

LYNDA AND CASH GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK. WE MISSED YOU. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING ABOUT YOUR TRIP. GAIL

Good Sunday Morning/Afternoon Everyone!!

Well, we survived the storms again last night. I've had about enough of rain and thunderstorms.

Paul, Virgil, & Gail - that's great that you will all be at MVMCP on the 17th, now maybe we can get Stacey to join us also. It would definitely be great to meet up in the park. Anyone else? Does anyone know if Disney has a special viewing package for the parade at MVMCP? I am looking for something kind of like the Illuminations cruise but to watch the parade.

We are arriving in Orlando on the 16th after midnight(so really very early on the 17th) and originally thought the Hyatt was best but when we decided to do MVMCP I figured it would be better to make a very late night of it on the 16th than to try to get back to the Hyatt on the 17th. This way on the 17th all we have to do is hop on the monorail and go to our room. Plus we have always wanted to stay at the GF and even though it is a very short stay at least we get to stay there. On the 17th we will probably sleep in then ride the mouse boats and hang out until time for dinner. We are thinking about doing 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickey's for dinner at 5pm the going straight to MK after that.

Hope everyone has a great day.

YIKES! I'm actually talking about along the floor all through the ride. If someone stepped out of the ride, it would send some sort of warning to those running the ride.

Cash the Wonder dog giving you mouth to mouth. I can't wait to meet this fantastic animal!

We are more than likely getting a puppy in August (we're #2 on the list) and my kids may need Cash to help them in their puppy withdrawl. Either that or they'll be so sick of their puppy chewing up their stuff they'll be HAPPY for the break! Could go either way.

I think we're in! My parents want to go too, so our tenative plan right now is to get a room very convenient to the MK (probably the Poly) and then head out early in the morning for the port. From the looks of it, since my parents will drive down, we'll probably drive too and will get there sometime Friday.

Well, aren't you the brave one....
HA, HA...
There was some ugly but, once again, the airlines got the prize. Grrrr. WDW and the Wonder were a joy...If anything went wrong (like out-of-control bears) They fixed it and fixed it in style. At POP I asked why my accessible room door trapped me either inside or outside the room. They sent over an engineer to check out the problem. When I checked the guest relations desk for the final solution a couple of hours later I was told that there was nothing they could do about the weight of the door...HUH???
I tried to explain again that the door weight was irrelevant and they sent over the engineering manager. He removed the hydraulic door arm so that the door could work like a regular door and not be automatically pulled shut.

After that I had the same done at AKL and POR, although I did have to argue a bit at POR. I guess it had never been requested before so they didn't know that self-closing doors were a problem....
Helllppp, I'm staying at WDW and I'm trapped in my room!!:chat:

I'll have to check on it the next time we ride...Might as well spread the groveling around....

I think Cash was just checking for signs of life...He flunked CPR school 'cause he can't pucker.....

A new puppy.....a nightmare in cute packaging....

Older, but wiser, is the dog for me....wasn't that a song from Music Man?princess:

Lynda - I'm glad that your travels were pretty much incident free.
Why am I not surprised that the airlines were the "ugly" part of your trip?

Paul

Hi everyone -

I'm sure things will be a little quiter with Stacey and Mary on their trips. Wish I were at WDW or DL with them.

Gail glad to hear DD is doing a little better, hope all of the rest of the testing goes well. (and they can find the triggers)

Went to look at another horse for DS yesterday. This time it was a 3+ hour drive to Dayton Ohio. I really liked the horse but DS isn't sure. So far this is the best we have looked at. (that is even close to what I would like to spend)

Hope everyone has had a good weekend----it's back to work tomorrow.

Vicki

That's right around the corner from me in the scheme of things. We head to Dayton a good bit for shopping and kids activities.
