20040706 Atlanta Georgia DISmeet (Sonny's BBQ Doraville July 6th, 6:30PM)

If there is sufficient interest in a DISmeet on Tuesday July 6th, I might be able to pursade my family to let me drive up I-75 on the way home from WDW. We could plan on an evening meal at the same place where you all got together last February. How does 6:30PM sound to everyone?

I'm a little over 4 months late, but I would love to get together with the Atlanta DISers and to finally meet some of you.

So how about it? Is anyone going to be in town on July 6th?

How about dinner at 6:30PM at the Sonny's Bar-B-Q in Doraville?

Ooh, we will be arriving in the Marietta area on July 6th fresh from our trip to Disney World. I'm not sure how my mom will feel about us spending our first evening there with our fellow DISers (well it's only been a year and a half since she's seen us ) but we'll just bring her along with us. I just asked my husband about it and he says that if we get to Georgia in time then we'll be there

I hate to "out myself" about what a terrible sense of direction I have, but I have absolutely no clue where Doraville is. I will ask my dad (Mr. Rand McNally Atlas himself, LOL) if I can get there after work in time. I could possible also leave work a little early if need be. I'll let you know as soon as I can, but I will definitely try my very hardest to make it.

OK, to embarrass myself even further , it would appear that Doraville is a mere 6 miles from where I work now. I told you my sense of direction is bad, LOL! I think it's safe to say that I can make it. Yippie!

We have our hotel ressies for Atlanta. And (like Priceline) they cannot be changed or cancelled. Of course, you all know how well that worked for me last time.

I verified the address of the Sonny's in Doraville. It's near the intersection of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Winters Chapel Road NW. I should probably exchange cell phone numbers with one or more of you in case we are running late. Any takers?
