Priceline offers trip insurance that allows you to cancel a reservation for medical reasons. I guess I should have paid the extra $5 when I reserved my room in Atlanta a couple of months ago.

I'm glad to see people making plans to come to our cookout since I haven't been able to get out to any DISmeets since just before the Atlanta DISmeet on Feb 28th.

BTW - The motels in Macedonia are less than 10 minutes from our house. About 3.3 miles according to Microsoft Streets and Trips 2002.

Dan - The meet takes place at Cedar Point on Friday night and all day Saturday, then moves to our home in Macedonia for an all day picnic on Sunday and breakfast on Monday morning.

There are separate threads for each day of the DISmeet. I should perhaps give them all a bump.

Sorry about those VIN numbers. I actually used them to sort the threads by date in order to put links to the other events of Memorial Day weekend. But I agree that it's too bad that there isn't some other way to accomplish the same thing behind the scenes.

The official starting time is noon although Sue and the kids will be home from church by 10:45AM.

I guess that I forgot to put a time in the original post. I'll fix that right now.

Just checked the original post and the start time of noon was in the original post, but just hard to find. Since three people (so far) have asked, I guess that I should be a little more precise in my posts in the future.

Let us know if you guys need any help setting up. We are free all day and can come over any time. Josh and I will be bringing 8 turkey burgers patties for ourselves and any others who do not eat red meat. If you need anything else, let us know and we will be happy to pick it up on our way over.

We just wanted to say that we had a great time at the DISmeet yesterday! Thanks to John and Sue for being so hospitable. The food was yummy and everyone was so friendly. Being newbies, we really felt welcome and are glad we had the chance to meet everyone. We can't wait for the next DISmeet!
