20040131 ~ Cruising Jan 31 2004 Western Who's with us?

Cap, I was thinking the same thing about the hats. Gail likes the more room to bring stuff back idea. We will have to model them on the thread for a preview!:smooth:

Thank you! Was I the last one to get them? Didn't see anyone else in the kiosk line when I took the tent down.

$400+ worth of work needed on my car...why do mechanical things always know when money is tight and/or could be spent on other things instead, like MY CRUISE SOUVENIRS AND DRINKS.

Suddenly that there cruise feels so far away. :(

Hello and good afternoon!

I called DCL about a photographer and the person said you have to get group pictures at one of the scheduled photo sessions or add it to a package. I'll bet if I spoke to someone after we boarded they would do it for us, especially if they knew they would sell a bunch of prints from one or two shots! That's the plan right now for our 3:00-3:30 Meet and Greet outside Studio Sea.

It's snowing here again! I told you LES would be back!

If Dean's buyin', I'm flyin'!!!

Nikki, you need to treat your car like I do my computer:

It may not fix it, but you will feel better.

Gary, thanks for checking. Sounds like you got a plan in motion. Way to go!! You deserve another boat drink!

Live froLive from the Magic, Football report
For all of you football fans traveling during the big games, take heart. They make viewing them a special treat.

In Diversions they have the big screen and smaller screens all over the place with a satellite feed. In the corner, they have tailgate food: BBQ and spicy wings and ribs, hot dogs and hero, grinder, sub (or whatever you call them where you live) sandwiches.

Since Diversions becomes adults only after nine, they have the game shown at the Promenade Lounge for families. They also set up "game food."

The previous quote was from DVCREG!!! Just think what they'll do for the Superbowl!!!

Is anyone else having issues with this site? I get "500" errors and MAJOR lag all the time lately - it's like the server is no where NEAR capable of handling the load of these boards! :(

I had replied to this, but it got lost! *sob*

As I MEANT to say, looks like I'll be in the Promenade Lounge as Tyler won't want to miss out on the excitement of watching it in a group now that he's really INTO it, you know? And if he can't be in Diversions after 9, then we'll have to move out... :(

Hey guys, I found another cruiser on the football thread - on with us, and from my state too! I invited them to come join the asylum...er...group here! Hope they stop by to say hi - and if they do, hi EeyoreJMH!!

:wave2:

Wow!! I'm getting in the spirit here. Kick-off at 6:30 PM if I remember correctly? Can do the Duvall crawl, watch the sunset on the square, continue the crawl up the gang-plank right into Diversions and take over where I left off on Duvall street. Then, can still make late seating for an after drink dinner.

Let me be the first to welcome EeyoreJMH - what? They aren't here yet? Well, just in case they pop in, I was first!

I thought maybe it was hammer-shock and my computer just slowed down. But I guess not and maybe we are overloading the server. Oh, well, they'll have to deal with it.

*poke*

*points up to last post*

Beat ya to it! Nya-nya!

Hey Dean, easy with that hammer. Although I didn't use that particular tool on my car, it SOUNDS like I did (to quote DS - "Mom, your car sounds like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!"). Apparently cold weather + spark plug wires = BAD, and once they went, other damage occured (or SUMTHIN' like that, I'm terrible at cars) So now I have to pour $$ into a car that we are thinking of trading in within a few weeks! *sob*

Is today the day to get the 1,200th post

Just a few more and we're there!

Hey, Nikki - have you been tasting the fermented grapes this afternoon?

EeyoreJMH is on the 2/1 Wonder, not the 1/31 Magic. Geesh, sure glad I wasn't the first one to welcome her - Nya-nya!

That means tonight is our favorite "family" show - "Worlds Apart" on the National Geographic Channel at 8pm. Tonight they send a family from New Jersey to survive in Kenya - we've actually seen this one before (it's the pilot episode) *sigh* but if there's nothing else to watch... *shrug* This one makes me cry tho, at the end!

Anyone else catch this? It's quite the learning experience for my kids - Survivor without all the politics and silly games!

Speaking of Survivor, that starts right after the Superbowl, I forgot! All Stars...whoo hoo! I'm going to have to remember to set the VCR.

LOL! What a dork I am!! ::yes:: Now don't everyone agree at the same time! *grin* See, the excitement has blinded me to the small details...either that or it was the sticker shock from my car repairs! *blush*

Allow me to be post 1195 !!!!

I installed a web cam on my home computer last night and chatted with Ann and Randy so they could see us! Pretty cool, this modern technology stuff!!! We use it on MSN Messenger.

HADD!!! :wave2:

May we introduce Gary...resident hat man, cutting edge techie, leader of the conga line!

Too cool! We have one, but the last time I tried it I was on 56K and we could either use the sound, or the video, both together was painful. I'll have to see if I can find it.

Gary's the name, Conga lines are my game!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

We have a DSL line so the response time is pretty good.

Post 1197!!!

I have one also. But, the string broke between the two tin cans of our local phone company everytime I tried to use it so I uninstalled it. Have a cable modem now; guess I should try it again sometime. Just can't stop dancin' today - everything seems for real now.
