Good morning cruisers! We're leaving right after work on Friday. The weather's not looking good for today, ice and freezing rain.

But Friday's forecast now only says light snow. Yippee!

I saw dizdad's question about an ethernet cable. Is there internet access in the rooms?

Those Costco snorkel sets are very nice.

With tax, they're about $40. They have their own cute litle backpack. The snorkel tubes (whatever you call them) close when you go under water. That's great for us swimming-challenged individuals that keep forgetting when you're supposed to breathe in and when you're supposed to breathe out, thus inhaling huge quantities of water at the wrong time. I picked mine up on Sunday afternoon and they had a couple cases. By Monday night, they were down to about 6 left! Amazing. With all this snow, you would think most people wouldn't even look at them.

I can't remember who's the panicked packer, but I'm getting there. I was reading my packing tips list last night and was surprised at how many items I forgot to put in the suitcases. Sigh

, back to the grocery store tonight. DS has developed a cold. He has allergies and his Dad has 2 cats. Every time he visits him after an extended absence, he gets cold symptoms. They usually develop into a bronchial or sinus infection within a week. Another big sigh. Do they let people on the ship if they're coughing and blowing their nose?

Not yet. I think it'd be amazing if they had that, or wireless throughout the ship......

OK, the hats are all packed!!! I have 4 (four) (IV) (quatro) extra hats, 2 (two) (II) (dos) Lime Green and 2 (you get the drift by now) Carribean Blue. They will be available to the first four people who want one that find me on the Magic, $9 (cheap!) each. Some assembly required, batteries not included, void where prohibited, Member FDIC.

Gary-We're not leaving until Thursday so we'll be here a couple of more days to help build that final post number. Got the cruise all paid for now I gotta work to afford the boat drinks, umbrellas, souveniers, etc., etc., etc.....

I hope everyone has a safe trip! We are not flying out until Sat. morning-- so hold the boat for us!!! We will be praying for no snow in Chicago that day!

I wanted to thank everyone for all the great posts on the board! I feel like we are a big family and it has become everyday conversation in my house-- "Did you see what Dean wrote?" or "Did you see that Gary & Gail took in Karen's kids?" or "I think everyone is really getting excited now!" I feel like we already know you and its like having pen pals! This has been a daily or twice daily addiction for us -- to get caught up on the posts! I can't wait to meet you all in person! Thanks!

Please save us some umbrella drinks, some beers for DH, some Palo reservations and some spa reservations until we get on the boat!

Jami - what new Disney rules? I want to ROTFL too! I don't think I saw Annie's new rules. But then, sometimes to catch up, I speed read through the posts and miss stuff.

It is nice that you have all enjoyed Dean so much, because he has had a lot fun communicating with all of you and is so looking forward to this cruise and meeting all of you.

It wasn't as cold here as many of you had this morning, -15, but Boy, those days on the beach are sounding very good.

OK, it's official, the boss has declared us packed. Let's see, if I counted right there is 4 suitcases for me, 2 for Cheri, and a carry-on for Matt's CD player. Yep, we are READY!

Thanks Dean. I had a hard time explaining that dress code at dinner last night. DD Bridget was talking about all her green clothes and asked DS Conor what he had that was lime green. He looked down at his navy blue shirt and said, "This is as lime green as I get."

DBF Jim wanted to know if he could wear his suspenders with his speedo?

Where is everybody? Sniff, sniff...... Yep, I used my Right Guard today. Everybody can't be gone yet, the lights are still on.

I'm still here! Work is just AWFUL right now, my boss only returned from maternity leave last week and she's piling on the projects "to be done before you leave"... *sigh* I'm stressing big time about that, and packing, and little things like Ty's birthday tomorrow.

I could really use one of those froo-froo drinks please... *sigh*

Oh, and I'm warming up the shovel, cause tomorrow morning does not look fun.

Precip has left us - just cold and a bit breezy now. Sorry, I just felt I had to share one last storm with you before we left. But, it will be out of the way by the time everybody leaves. Then, all you have to worry about is getting to the airport without spilling your froofroo drinks.

I've got a snow blower - I would come help you move some of it. But, i got this back problem, ya' know what I mean, Vern?

Old Man Winter has been working overtime here today. Ice, snow, sleet, freezing rain, the whole nine yards! I'm here at work, though. What a guy, huh?

We're 95% packed, just little stuff left.

Personally, I like the knew dress code. But I'm wierd like that, just so you know.
