2004 rates cheaper than 2003?

I have been checking out rates for our next planned vacation in 2004. Expedia is quoting rates for the 2004 cruise for cheaper than what I paid for for our 3/29 cruise (same time, same category, same number of passengers, etc). I even booked a year ahead so early bird savings shouldn't come into play. Any comments on this? Actually the 2004 rate was cheaper than what I paid for our 2003 rate a year ago!

I have no idea why 2004 would be less than 2003. Have you tried DU ? They quoted me less than Expedia and the service is great.

I wish I could find that. I'm checking the same week we went this year, for next year, 2/8 and it is $1000 more next year!

You might be seeing an early booking discount for the 2004 cruise. They get more expensive as the departure day gets closer. Just a thought.
