Looks like I won't be in costume this year, because the guy accompanying me (replacement for my nephew, who has to work/fly), plans to go in plain clothes. So I'll probably just be wearing all black unless I get an orange Halloween t-shirt!

OK everyone! Here is the meet info:

We will be meeting at the Liberty Tree (the BIG Tree between the Liberty Tree Tavern and the Christmas Shoppe).

We will be starting to meet up an hour before the first parade. Originally I had planned for half an hour, but I was advised that an hour or so may be better. Last rumor was that the first parade is at 8PM. Be sure to check your MNSSHP program for the exact time and plan accordingly!

Everyone wear your lime green ribbons. I will be wearing mine, plus I will be wearing a lime green Tinker Bell shirt - sorry, no costume for me.

I will try to send PMs to all those who signed up this weekend, as a reminder!

BTW, I met up with a bunch of people from the DIS at this same site for the first parade at MVMCP in December 2002. The location worked out well, as it was not as crowded as Main Street for the parade. We had a great time chatting before the parade, and got to enjoy the parade together! :

I got a great tshirt at Walmart the other day - black with LIME GREEN decorations (glow in the dark) to look like pumpkin carvings. That will be my costume.

I have already left home or I would print Arkansas Minnie on the back

Glow in the dark shirt...I plan on having glow in the dark hair! I will be Roger Rabbit with neon red hair that reacts to black lights- Should be cool on the some of the rides,

I'm contemplating staying at WDW one more night, I just have to make sure my DD doesn't have any tests on Monday. Does this night usually sell out? Will it be hard to get tickets the day of? I would love to go Oct.19th!

Ok you guys, I will not have on a lime green ribbon because I get way to into my costume...hey snow white doesn't have on a lime green ribbon but I 'll be there, I love that spot for parades!! Its also a great photo op of the headless horseman, he stops on the bridge before coming through and you actually have time to get a couple of shots. Have safe travels all.

We'll stop by to say to everyone. We're not planning to watch the first parade, but we have PS at the LTT at 6:05 and should be finished just about the time everyone is meeting.

If you see a weird looking group of five Wizard of Oz characters, that's us!!

Hey everyone! I am excited about meeting all of you guys Sunday night, and can not believe that we are over 50 people strong. (Krissalee, do you remember saying that you thought it would just be you and your DH?) I had no luck in talking my husband into dressing up, so who knows what we will be wearing, but I hope to at least get some lime green ribbons on us. I don't think we will stay and watch the parade with you guys (we are planning on enjoying the much less crowded second parade), but we will stop by to say hi. See everyone there!

Iam so EXCITED !!!! We will be there we are still looking for lime green ribbon though . But you wont miss me I will be wearing a Red plastic fire hat with a little Mickey Fireman in my arms .

Also look for my lime green stroller tag that has my name and Mad4Mickey on it !

I did not see <I>anyone</I> with a lime green ribbon or Mickey paint swatch! Unfortunately, we had PS at LTT for 7 and took awhile getting in so the first parade was over when we came out. But I kept looking for lime green and never found it - except people wearing some clothing that color who were not DISers.

Taswira - I thought it was just me!

I couldn't find anyone either. I didn't get there until almost 7:30. It was pretty dark so that made it harder. I had on a black shirt with green glow in the dark pumpkin cutouts. I had a Mickey swatch on a lanyard around my neck but I don't think that was easy to see in the dark.

After the first parade I still kept looking. Sorry to miss everyone but I did have a great time.

Just got home and must say I didi not see anyone either, I was dressed as snowwhite, the costume was very good if I must sya so my self It was great fun, I would have loves to met some of you guys however!!!!

DH & I got there a little late - sometime between 7:15 and 7:30. It was getting dark and I couldn't tell what color my Mickey paint swatch was so I suppose nobody else could either. Oh well, maybe next time.

then I heard Michelle calling MISHELL !!! OVER HERE !! and she and Junior were waiting onthe other side of the street . ( chellNJr)
It was fun meeting up with them but I couldnt find anyone else .

Although the rest of the week people from the board did come up and talk to me and tell me they knew who I was from the CB I think it must have been the large line geen stroller tag I mad and then kept hanging on the stroller LOL

I didn't see anyone so we left and watched the second parade. I did see Donna In Oz & her group going into LTT (fantastic costumes...looked like the real thing!!!). I also saw who I assume now was "pointandshoot" throughout the night (didn't realize it until now when I read your post about who you'd be...we saw you several times but didn't notice any lime green).

Anyway, I hope everyone had a good time at the MNSSHP...we sure did. It's so sad to be home.
