Pre-lit green!
Haven't had a real tree for a couple of years now, I am thinking maybe next year as I will not be home this year.
Years and years ago we went to a tree farm and it was freezing cold outside. I picked what I thought was the right sized tree, I guess the cold made my eyesite a little offThe height was okay, the width on the other hand.
It had to be more than 6 feet wide.

Artificial. The movie Christmas Vacation was enough to put me off real trees for a lifetime!![]()
Sounds like a Griswold family Christmas! Did you hear the angels sing when you found the tree?![]()
But the funniest thing of all was, I went with my DS and her family so we had two trees. We undid mine from the top of her SUV and retied theirs. On their way home it flew off the top of the truck and landed in the median of the highway, it took them 30 minutes to find it.
-------------------------You granddaughter doesn't have anywhere to use it? I'm sure there is a little girl in your area who would love it! !
At present we have an artificial tree (green, about 7 ft.) which originally belonged to my grandparents. They gave it to my parents shortly after they were married and I grew up with it. DH and I have used it since the year we were married when my parents bought a new pre-lit tree. I love my artificial tree and would never have a real one (for many reasons).
Unfortunately, the poor thing has seen better days (heck, it's way older than I am) and DH has decided we're getting a new one this year. Anyone know a good place to buy a non-pre-lit tree (we have a gold and purple lighting theme we want to keep)?
I'm also getting a small fibre-optic tree this year from my grandmother who has been moved into assited living and doesn't want it anymore.
