2000 Loop Comfort Station Refurb?

Hello -

Someone mentioned in another thread that the front comfort station in loop 2000 is undergoing a refurbishment. Does anyone know what the scheduled completion date is?

I am going to be there on September 3. I hope it is complete by then.

Based on the size of the crew they had working on that project, I would guess that it will be done by the end of this month.

BTW- There are two comfort stations on the 2000 loop-so the other one is still open, and they had a sign up directing folks to the Creekside Meadows (group camping area) comfort station, too. This is a short walk from a lot of the sites. The sites closest to the comfort station that is being refurbished apparently are being left vacant until the work is done. So, even if the job is not complete by your visit, it shouldn't cause any inconvenience for you.
