Got an email this morning from JetBlue - use promo code FALL2011 to take 20% off any flights booked today for travel between 9/7/11-10/29/11.

If you have already booked a flight during this time period like me, they won't honor the discount on the price you paid but you can call and see if the today's fares plus the 20% off today's fares comes out to be lower than what you paid. For me, it was not lower as fares have gone up significantly.

Good luck!

Yes, I got the email(s) too! I will probably take advantage of this offer. While I can use it for my October trip, I'm still waiting for an offer or good price for my August trip. I just have to figure out who's going with us in October to see if they want to buy today too. If not, we will.

Booked half of my flight this morning using this code. :thumbsup2 Now if only they would open up the November flights.

I saw this sale when I did my morning Jetblue fare check. I'd already booked flights when they first came out, but already got one credit when the cost went down. I called, because this sale would give us about 75 credit. The rep said no, since its only for newly booked travel. Should I call back? Am I missing something?

Thx for posting this info. We've never flown Jetblue and I might book it considering their prices are already hundreds of dollars lower than SW, even w/o the 20% deal. I was just reading the luggage info and do I understand correctly -- we are a family of 4, so I can have 4 pieces of luggage checked for free? Just wanting to be sure I am getting the entire cost right w/o any hidden fees. Thx!

Just booked a one way flight this morning. Just waiting for November flights! Anyone know when they might be released?

Yep, 1 bag free for each ticketed person. Plus 1 carryon and 1 personal item. Plus assigned seating at NO extra cost. TVs at everyone's seat (bring your own buds/headphones) and snacks -- your choice. I love JB. The only downside is that you can't cancel or change like you can with SW. But if the rate drops you can call and get a credit into your trueblue account and if you're a family, they will put the entire credit into one account. THe credit is good for 1 year from the day you get it (not the day you book like SW). Plus you can use the credit for anyone, so it doesn't have to be a ticket for you, as long as you buy it through your account -- I've bought tickets for my grandson through my account and have applied my credits. I love not having to do the A, B, C thing like with SW. Did I say I love JB? Well I do!

You get 1 free checked, 1 carryon, and 1 personal item per ticketed passenger. I'm unsure if a lap infant is allowed a bag or not. The guidelines for weight and size allowances if each bag is available on the Jetblue website.

If today's fare with the 20% off code is less than what you paid when you booked it, you can get the difference according to the rep I talked to. She said she could not retroactively apply the 20% off to what I paid, but she took today's fares for my same flights, applied the 20% off and it was still more than what I paid so I couldn't get anything. If it came out to be less, I could have gotten the difference. So perhaps the rep you talked to thought you just meant applying the 20% to your fare that you already have??

This is great info. Thanks for confirming what I read on the site ~ I just felt compelled to doublecheck and ask here. I went thru the booking process and unfortunately the only seats left are single seats scattered throughout the plane, which will not work for us (we have 2 young kids....). I will definitely remember to look at Jetblue in the future, though. Thx again! :goodvibes

Each of my flights would have been 25 less (so 75 total) if I booked today, with the code. Rep said I could not get the credit since it was for new flights only. Shot down twice. But, I'm still going to Disney World, so it can't be that bad ;). If anyone here is told differently, please post.

I get what the agent is saying but jetblue has a really great policy that if the flight price goes down even a dollar, they will refund the difference. Had you booked with the promo today, your cost would be less so they should be refunding you the difference. There was no disclaimer on this in the email which is why I called to check on the flights I booked. I'd ask for a supervisor and have them explain why this would be different from any other promo that would cause the price to go down that they WILL refund on.

Booked my flights today using the promo code, got a reservation for OKW and DS and I are going to see the Children's Miracle Network Golf Classic at WDW.:cool1::banana:
Thanks Jetblue:worship:

That will now make 6 trips to the World this year.:yay:

I want to book on Jet Blue, but we are going Oct 27th to Nov 4th. Has anyone booked just one way, and then what do you do wait and book the return flight later? Does it work out?
