20% off coupons for merchandise at Disney World

Check your receipts for a 20% off coupon. We received two on June 29, one at Pinocchio Village Haus and
one sat the Sunshine place at Epcot. We paid cash for both food purchases. The coupon prints on the bottom
of the receipt and is good for 20% the main merchant store at each park (i.e. Mouse Gear) and for World of Disney,
valid between 9am and 12pm.

That's great news for the folks heading down. I know they've done this several times over the past year and generally during busy times. I took advantage of it in December. I know there are limitations of times and locations, but nevertheless a good deal.

My mother and I and neighbor friend did it last December. We were in a line at Mouse Gear about a quarter to 12 and there were 2 people ahead of us. The person in front of us had a lot of little things and it was taking forever to ring up. I said to my mother,"I hope the register won't prevent us from getting the discount," because it really looked like it would be after 12 o'clock before we got to it. The CM heard me and said not to worry,because since we were in line before 12 we'd get the discount.

I got a similar deal when I was in DLR in April. I held off on buying stuff until my last day and then spent my first hour in the park that morning shoping for all the stuff I had picked out the previous few days. I saved a pretty penny!

Did you use your KTTW card when buying food (did they know you were leaving the next day) or was it random? We're leaving August 1st, so if anyone has a coupon the is valid until August, please let me know!

Hi,

Both coupons have been claimed.

We were there from June 23 through June 30 and received both coupons with counter service on June 29 (paid cash for both of the transactions).

On the 29th, we also made a purchase at Kringla bakery in Norway and did not get a coupon.

The only reason that I looked at the receipt was because it was so long.

If you're going soon, be sure to get your receipts to check them.

I got one too the day before we left, but we had already been to DTD and bought everything we wanted, grrrr! I paid with a credit card, so not linked to my room or anything and it was at Tamu Tamu (?) at AK. I think the receipt got pitched or I'd pass it along, sorry.

Those of you who received these coupons, did you pay cash for your meals or were you on one of the Dining Plan?

I'm curious because I was on the Quick Service DP in May and didn't receive a single coupon. Was wondering if it was because I was on the DP.
