Anyone get a 20% off merchandise coupon code on the bottom of their receipt recently? I wasn't sure if they were still doing this at select locations.

No codes from the 5th-15th and as far as I know the promotion currently is not running.

My "guess" is it will come back sometime in June and run until sometime in August.

Thanks! Since they took away the 20% off for premium AP holders this has been my "go to" for an extra 10%. I will be at WDW in July so I hope you are right!

I just had one 2 weeks ago. I think it was only good at the main gift stores in the 4 main parks and the Downtown Disney store. I'm not sure where I got it but I think it was Sunshine Seasons. I almost didn't even notice it. You really have to watch. Plus it was only good for the next morning until 1PM.

Usually the way the codes work is they are printed on your receipt at select locations. Most of these locations are counter services so it really doesn't impact the entire dining operations so I don't see free dining being a problem.

The whole idea of the coupon is to get you to buy more in the stores...it sure works on me. Disney 1....Brian 0

I'm not sure.

Thye usually just run it during Peak Seasons(Spring Breakish period-Peak Summer weeks,etc).

They do it to try to "encourage" Guests to shop in the Mornings so that the stores aren't "slammed" in the afternoon/evening hours with Guests.

I'm at WDW now, ate yesterday at Columbia Harbour House and today at Backlot Express, did not get it.

last trip to WDW, (November 14th-25th, with free dining just starting for that 2 weeks in november) I got it twice, as well as another member in our group got one. I cannot for the life of me remember what restaurant the other group member ate at for theirs, but i ate a lunch meal at the flame tree BBQ in ak and then as well one from a lunch at Liberty Inn in Epcot.

At DL 2 weeks ago we received one. We will be in WDW Sept 8th-13 so I am hoping to get one then too.
