$20.03 rate at DD Courtyard Marriott is out!!!!

Good only Sun through Thursday, but the Courtyard by Marriott is having their 20.03 rates Aug 1 thru Sept 30. Call them directly at 407 828-8888 and just asked for the $20.03 rate.

No. Only the Hilton has those priviledges.

I knew that when Early Entry returned, the Hilton was the only one that participated. But last year we did enight from Courtyard. Has that changed?

We stayed there last year and were told that the Courtyard participates in all the Disney perks. Call the hotel directly and ask

I had wanted to stay at a DD disney hotel, but when I checked the DD disney website it does say that only the Hilton participates in the Disney programs.

I booked the Courtyard rate today, and I asked about the perks.

No, early entry is not included.
Yes, e-ride nights are.
No, parcels aren't delivered to the hotel.
Yes, there is a direct line to Disney Dining.

Belle1962, we will have our own car like you did, how long to reach the parks? Which way did you travel, I am not real familiar with the DD area...

You are basically on property--right across the street from Downtown Disney. The parks were very close---no further than when I stay at the All Stars. Turn LEFT out of the hotel; Turn LEFT at the Downtown Disney left and you're on one of the main roads that will take you to all the parks--just follow the signs. Closest parks (in order I think--someone correct me if I am wrong) are Typhoon Lagoon, Studios, EPCOT and Magic Kingdom is the furthest.

How difficult would it be to stay at this hotel and not rent a car? Could you walk to DD and take a bus to a park or hotel and then to a park? Or would it take forever? I know the hotel offers bus service to all parks. How is this service?

we stayed at the Ctyd in Dec and had both Early Entry and pkgs delivered to the room from the parks. Walking to DD and catching a bus is usually longer than taking the bus from Ctyd. Only problem we ran into was an early breakfast, had to take a taxi bc busses wouldn't get us there in time. Still, taxi was not too expensive, and we were happy with the ctyd.

I just called and made a reservation for the end of August! My neice is starting the WDW College Program then, so it'll be either myself or her stepdad bringing her down. I couldn't beat the $67.02 total price for 3 nites!!!

i stayed at the courtyard in DD a few years ago and was very impressed!! they remembered our names and greeted us by name every day when we returned from a busy day at the parks...we didn't have a rental car at all...well, we got one for one day to go out to the kennedy space center and to the beach, but we had no trouble with the transportation! i would not hesitate to stay here again...especially at that rate!!!!

Can't promise anyting but in 2001 it was $20.01; last year it was $20.02 and this year (2003) it is $20.03, so...........

Thanks for the info Belle!!! Told dh about the rate and he said maybe we can go next year too if we can catch the cheap airfare.

Just called on this rate. Two things that I learned:

1. It starts August 10.

2. It is pre-pay and non-refundable.

::Raises hand:: I have a question. On my trip in September, we will be arriving a day early now. I'm thinking of booking this deal for the new first night and then having our luggage transferred to our resort (CBR).
So, the question is, Can I have my luggage transferred from the Courtyard Marriott to a Disney Resort. I've had luggage transferred from a CBR to the Dolphin. but will the reverse be done?
