Hello!
I'm normally a lurker, or posting replies on the AKL threads. My last adventure to the world 2 years ago changed my outlook...we managed to get a GREAT deal at the AKL.
Once you go AKL you cant go back
The smells, the atmosphere, the zebra domes, the utter joy and wonderfulness
Ever since returning I must have dreamed about the place a couple of times every week. I vowed to return, I have been and still am working like an electric frog to pay for it. To the side of me are laminated photos of the lodge to inspire and motivate.
We'll, we've booked for may 2011! - deposit paid
AND this year we have dining plan! - we didn't go delux as we are from the UK and love eating at the various 192 / international drive bits and bobs. So Im thinking we can save up points and have a signature evening meal every two nights (am I right?)
I will return with photos of the gang and of our last trip, writing this post was a treat for doing 3 hours of work, If I can manage a few more hours of work, I'll reward myself by coming back
