2 Weeks of AKV

[RDP]

Back to EPCOT today, the park is fairly quiet and we have an ADR at Coral Reef.

Coral Reef was good, dare I say much improved from previous years, I had a shrimp starter and Mahi Mahi for the main with half a lobster tail. It was good. IMHO this restaurant has been going down hill, but today it was on form, everyone enjoyed their meal! Not sure if the chef has changed , but there was an improvement !

Downtown Disney tonight, just having some downtime in the room at the moment. Weather has been wonderful, the last two days have been 90 degrees with no rain, not even an afternoon shower !

Today we spent doing the other half of animal kingdom. First thing we did breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at the Polynesian, then we drove to AK. We had a good day in the park with short waits and fantastic weather. We came back to Kidani for room service and wine time! We are coming to the end of what has been a great two weeks. Tomorrow we have a late ADR in EPCOT at the Garden Grill.

Water park (first time in 13 visits)
Short wait through immigration at MCO
Very short wait through security on the way home at MCO
Our Children trying out more rides.
Mall at Millennia (Cheesecake Factory)
Discovering Whisky Sours!
Late nights in parks.

Lows:

Finding out the sofa bed in our AKV was broken and would not unfold at 1030 pm on our first night!
Having to call maintenance to fix said sofa bed at 1030 pm on our first night!
Room was as far as geographically possible from reception.
Not being to add park tickets to the KTTK card following a system upgrade related to Magic Bands.
Being told by bar staff member she was too busy to get food I wanted to order with cocktails. (Victoria Falls lounge at AKV)
VA Economy.
Huge lines for immigration at Gatwick on way home.

Overall we once again had a fantastic time, we can't wait to go back and already have a Disney Cruise booked as part of next years itinerary.

I hope Coral Reef is as good for us when we go, we've never been before & I really wanted to go.

Coral Reef was very good, I was pleasantly surprised after reading a lot of negative reviews ! We have been many times and only go for the fish tank! The food was an added extra this year !
