To say that I had a restful sleep would be a lie so big that would make Pinocchios nose seem small. I spent most of the night watching the Disney Top Lists, trying to ignore the pain increasing throughout my body from the dead mattress. I kept thinking, Calling Mousekeeping they have to have a spare mattress. DD slept like a rock. Doesnt hurt when your 22lbs and dont budge the springs when you lay on them! I am not proud to say that I was the first one up for the day, long before I heard the hungry cries of DS coming from the master bedroom. I got up and made his bottle, glancing at the clock. 7am on the dot. Geez, DS must have a built-in alarm clock.

Pop Pop came out to make his bottle and was surprised to first, see me awake, and second have the bottle ready to go.
Here are the only 2 pics I have of the room (I know 5000+ pics and this is it).
It wasnt too long after that I heard BILs phone ringing from their bedroom. This was
NOT a good thing. It was his full time employee calling with a question about the truck delivery. Then, 10 minutes another call. Another 15 minutes, ring, ring! Half hour later, yup you guessed it! BIL was fuming!

He called his district manager to see if he could help or if another stores manager could, but the answer was no. Nice!

DD woke up by this point and DS was ready for his breakfast oatmeal and pears. Baby food yum! LOL! DD opted for sharing Pop Pops bowl of Cheerios while I grabbed a Weight Watchers chocolate chip muffin. Whenever we stay at a DVC resort, we always begin our mornings eating breakfast on the balcony. Its funny, we never do this home, but it is so nice when we are on vacation!
Pop Pop kept the kids entertained by showing them the mousecapers mowing the fairway and the ducks enjoying their morning toilette. BIL received 5, yes 5 no exaggeration calls while he was in the shower. And it was the kind of call, no answer, hang up as soon as the v/m hits, dial right back, repeat. My sister finally turned the sound off as it was annoying the heck out of her!
While Nonna lounged on the balcony enjoying her tea (decaf, please!) and oatmeal (yuck!), she made her first obligatory call to Mom Mom. Yes, we had fun at the party. Of course we were tired. Lots of people? There are crowds, but manageable. BIL has been getting calls from work all morning. Mom, I dont know why they are bothering him. Yes, I know hes on vacation, but hes also the manager. Everyone slept good.
Whoa! Wait! Stop! Everyone slept good? Um, my calf is sore from the Charlie horse I woke up with this morning and I have a kink in my neck! With that I call mousekeeping. They apologize and offer to bring another mattress I can place on top of the dead one today. I thanked them. Within 15 minutes, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to find a mattress standing in the doorway! Actually, there was a mousekeeper behind the mattress but she was so tiny you couldnt see her!
BIL is now back on the phone, hasnt even eaten breakfast yet. I get dressed and begin to get the kids ready. Pop Pop is dressed, my sister is dressed and eating breakfast, Nonna is on the phone. DD is dressed and back outside with everyone, DS is getting dressed, BIL is now eating breakfast, and Nonna is on the phone. DS is ready, BIL is done eating, my sister is done eating, and Nonna is off the phone! She announces she has to take a shower! We all look at her and say, well go! It takes 35 minutes for the shower, then 10 to get dressed, 15 for makeup and 15 to blow dry her hair. DS falls asleep during this time, my diaper bag is packed with all my camera stuff and baby food. The pockets of the stroller hold the diapers, wipes, bibs, bottled water easier to grab and go then pull out the bag!
Nonna emerges from her bedroom and begins her checklist. Danielle (me), do you have
.? Yes. Yes. Yes. Mom, lets go! And with that we are finally out the door!
We decided that today would be an MGM, err DHS, day since we had ADRs at 4:10 at Brown Derby with the Fantasmic Dinner Package. This would be the familys first time eating here (myself excluded I ate here in 2005 w/ Dining with an Imagineer). We only waited a few minutes for the bus to arrive, I believe a DTD/Typhoon Lagoon was the only bus to arrive prior. We start to get into the groove. DS is handed to my sister, DD to Nonna, I grab the diaper bag and frozen water bottles, place aside and anything else that is in the stroller basket, I begin to fold the stroller when Pop Pop takes over, pick everything up that I placed aside, BIL asks bus driver to open the back door, the bus driver is already on it since he sees Pop Pop picking up the stroller now, and on the bus we go! Heigh Ho! Heigh Ho!
Another 2 stops at OKW and picking up an additional couple of families we are off to DHS. The bus driver pulls up to the curb not in the Disney bus stop circle to let us off. My guess was that this was closer than his next scheduled stop. And we file out: Pop Pop out the back door with the stroller, opens it, I have all the bags, BIL, my sister with DS, and DD with Nonna. Onwards and upwards! We file through security. Side note: anyone ever notice that the female security guards check every nook and cranny of your bags/strollers while the men glance at it, usually spot some sort of feminine product and shoo you past quickly? Just an observation.
Anyway, we snap some pics and head through the turnstiles. We couldnt go very far as the HSM float was on its way out so Hollywood Blvd was semi-blocked. Nonna got a map and time schedule, BIL hit the restroom while he answered another phone call, Pop Pop with stroller was with Nonna and I snapped a few more pics.
With HSM cleared, we continue on for about 30 steps. Photopass photograph. Quick, everyone say Mickey!
We saw lots, I mean lots of cheerleaders headed towards their competitions. Cheerleaders from all over the world Mexico, Brazil.
We head towards Little Mermaid and notice the arch the MGM sign is gone (well, yeah I guess it would be, huh?).
The next show is filling the holding area so we grab the kids, Pop Pop parks the stroller and we head in.
Unfortunately DD falls asleep while we are just entering the theater. I wasnt sure if she would wake up during the show, but I knew we would come back. DS, on the other hand, was bright-eyed and bushy tailed! BIL received another call during the show (dont worry it was on vibrate!) DS loved watching the green laser beams and since we sat relatively close, he felt the mist from the rain.
DD never woke up!
Our next stop: lunch! We hit Backlot Express. It was empty, that is, when we first got there, but by the time we were finishing eating, the crowds were pouring in, as were some of the younger cheerleading groups. They must have already been done with their competition.
