How hard is it to get a 2 bedroom versus 1 bedroom and a studio? Traveling next summer and doesn't really matter which resort. Trying to get AKL and Wilderness Lodge. Only problem is I will be booking at 7 month mark. Are the 2 bedroom ressies that popular?
TIA

I'm looking daily at BCV/bwv at 7 months and the 2 bed are really hard to get, but not impossible. Lock offs go first and often well before the 7 month mark. 1 beds are relatively easy to book, even at popular resorts.

The studios look to be even harder than the 2 beds at BCV/bwv.

If you are happy with okw/ssr you shouldnt have an issue getting a 2 bed at 7 months during summer.

The skier Pete thread should help with predicting studio/1 bed availability.

If a resort has dedicated 2BR, then the order of popularity is: studio > 2BR >> 1BR.
If there are no dedicated 2BR, then lock off 2BR are as popular as studios, because booking studios removes a 2BR from inventory too.

Availability during July and August is generally better than later in the year. If you are looking for a 2br savannah view I think you should be okay if you book at 7 months.

As far as any time in the summer goes, you should easily be able to get a dedicated 2BR at either AKV Kidani or BRV at 7 months out. The 2BR at AKV Jambo (where there are only lock-offs and thus a studio reservation takes the 2BR out of the system) has some risk of not being available, particularly if you are focusing on time around July 4.
