We're getting ready to plan a trip with my sister's family to AKV (either Jambo or Kidani). We can't decide if it's better to each have a separate 2 bedroom (separate for each family) or to share a GV. We'd like to all be in the same villa, but we're not sure if it's worth losing one bedroom to do so. All input welcome. Thanks!

Look over the points that it will cost you for the two options for the length of stay.

GV are a lot of fun, but for how many people and for how long? We like them for the shorter trips but for the longer trips we find that people start stepping on each others toes. :crowded:

I would get the 2 2BRs. We have often taken family and as much as we enjoy time together it's also nice to spend some time apart.

:) I would agree that 2 two bedrooms would be better for two separate families if going for a week long trip. If it were for 3-4 days I would/could do a GV. You never know how things will turn out and becasue it is n expensive place to travel I would lean toward giving everyone space. You can get together around meals.

We always get a studio for us and one for MIL/my parents. They love us but they don't mind finding us by cell phone either. I thought about getting a two bedroom for our next trip with my parents, but decided since it was their vacation too they deserved privacy just as much as us.

Maybe do a GV for a couple of days or so they transfer to a 2 bedroom?

Thanks for the responses. Good points. I think we're leaning toward the consensus - 2 bedrooms
