Okay so I had booked a ressie for the only time available for our party and called back to see if any other times had opened up. I'm not sure if the original CM looked into this but when I called back the CM I got said she could give me the time I wanted but at 2 different tables. She said that it would still be one ressie and they would 'try their best' to seat us together. So for those of you that have done this how did it work out for you? Did they really seat you close together? Across the aisle is fine but on completely different sides of the restaurant - not what I was looking for. I took the new ressie and cancelled the other one but now I am questioning if I did the right thing.
