Okay so I had booked a ressie for the only time available for our party and called back to see if any other times had opened up. I'm not sure if the original CM looked into this but when I called back the CM I got said she could give me the time I wanted but at 2 different tables. She said that it would still be one ressie and they would 'try their best' to seat us together. So for those of you that have done this how did it work out for you? Did they really seat you close together? Across the aisle is fine but on completely different sides of the restaurant - not what I was looking for. I took the new ressie and cancelled the other one but now I am questioning if I did the right thing.

I Would Say Your Chances Are Good. Even If You Would Have To Wait For A Little.

We're almost always seated at 'two' tables, and we always are seated together at the restaurant.

My family has gone numerous times and because we have been a large party we have had to sit at 2 tables at many places. We were always sitting right next to each other.

I would just suggest try (or atleast one member) get to the check in podium atleat 15 min prior and ask again if you can be seated together or next to each other. (only if you are nervous about not being together)

If the reservation is within 30 minutes of scheduled opening or closing time they should have no problem seating you at one table.

When we went last year with a party of 9, all of our ADRs were for two tables. When we arrived at the restaurants we were seated together every time, except at SCI FI where we were eated at two different tables (but still close to each other). And all of our meals were at prime meal times and during peak season in March.
I think you should be fine.

We have a reservation for 9 folks at Coral Reef for our upcoming trip. They informed me that when we arrived at the podium, be sure to inform them to be seated together. The CM said we would get the first available tables together that would accomodate our party (which may require a short wait). So, I'll guess we will see how it works out.

I went with a party of 12 in 2006 for 7 nights and we were booked for 2 or 3 tables for most of our meals. We were seated together for every meal except for Coral Reef where we were at 3 table on 2 different tiers.

We had no problems with this on our recent ressies...we also had very little wait at most places as well. Good luck!

We were there during Easter week this year with a party of 10. Every time I made an ADR, I was told we would be seated at 2, sometimes 3, tables. We ended up seated at one table at every restaurant.

Even at Prime Time 50's, they told us at the podium that we would be separated, and couldn't even promise that we would be anywhere near each other. We ended up at two tables right next to each other. Our waitress asked us if we wanted to just push them together, so we did. Of course, being Prime Time, she made all the boys do the work and push the tables together, and also made them put things back in order after our meal!
