The OP didn't ask if they should bring a stroller or not. They asked how to get to the parks with all of the gear they are choosing to use.

If none of your kids are allowed a stroller after kindergarten, that is fine. But it is also fine for other parents to make the decision to use them longer than that.

It's totally doable. We went last year with four kids, 11 months, 3 years, 5 years, and 9 years. We had a double side by side Maclaren and a single maclaren. They fold pretty small so one person can easily load them on and off a bus. The other of us wrangles the kids. We did also have a pikkolo carrier (like an Ergo) that we used on occasion for back carry, even with our 5 year old.

We're going again in April with the same setup. Sometimes we leave the single at the resort if we'll only be gone to the parks for a few hours. My son will be six and we're definitely bringing a stroller. He has asthma that always flares terribly in the Florida humidity so while he physically CAN walk all over and has the stamina to do so, if he doesn't rest from walking periodically we could end up in ER.

Aside from that, we're pretty fast paced with our touring. It's enough to get anyone tired and rather than listen to them whine or figuring out how to carry one of them we like the ability to have them in strollers. Plus we can get across the park faster if we're running late for a FP or something. Some of the most relaxing times actually are when they all fall asleep in the stroller (aside from the oldest) and we can leisurely walk through World Showcase. They haven't napped at home in years but do at Disney.

FWIW, we never encountered anyone seeming annoyed with us or rude. If anything, the opposite of offers to help carry one of the strollers or commending us on taking four small kids to disney with no grandparent help. Even if people HAD been rude, that's their problem. It's not unreasonable and there are no rules dictating what age can't bring a stroller or that each family can only have one.

Did you miss the part where she said her son has low muscle tone? My son with low muscle tone was still in one at that age. OP another problem would be if you got on the bus and didn't have a seat not many people would offer you a seat even with a sleeping baby. I was disgusted at the amount of people I saw unwilling to give up seats to parents with small children on our last trip. And would instead sit there and smile at the struggling parent

Be fair. The OP neglected to mention this very important information in her original query. It's very possible the poster you are criticizing never saw her more recent post about her son's issues.

My 8 year old will still sit in the stroller at WDW if there's an open spot, so yeah... it's just tough on everyone! I agree that your scenario sounds difficult, but definitely not impossible. Two years ago we took a bus back to our resort--it was DH, our 3 kids, and me. We had a double stroller. All 3 kids were asleep, and the bus driver was very patient while DH quickly dropped the stroller outside the bus and came back for one kid while I woke up the oldest and carried the youngest off the bus. If we'd had two strollers, he would've done the same thing. Something else we've done if the bus is down to standing room only is step aside to let other people on ahead of us. If we have 3 sleepy kids, we have to be sitting down, so sometimes it's worth a little bit of extra wait time.

Just drive. I promise that getting from the TTC to the MK is easier than trying to ride the bus with all your gear and children.

We have two kiddos and do busses around our hometown fairly frequently. I usually bring a wrap so I can wear the baby when needed then we have them swap off in one strolłer (maclaren). This usually works, except if ODD (3.5, and in OT with low muscle tone) gets exhausted while the baby is napping in the strolłer, I've wished for a double umbrella strolłer on a few occasions ;-)

I would suggest strollers with straps that you can collapse and get onto your back/shoulder before assisting the kids onto the bus. Could the 6-year-old board maybe helping a younger sibling or helping with a bag while the two adults manage the strollers/other child? we have our 3yo get herself onto the bus (under our watch) as we manage luggage/car seats/etc. for shuttles at the airport. As others have said, I think it's very manageable while they are awake, but more challenging if they are asleep in the strolłer.

This kind of reminds me of freaking out about how to get two kids, two car seats, a strolłer and Bunch of luggage to the check-in desk at the airport - crazy the first time, but after a few times much more manageable.
