2 Sites Next To Each Other?

We are traveling with friends and would like to get 2 sites next to each other. This works well when we go to local state parks for the kids. It gives them lots of room to play. Do we request this at the time we make the reservation or would we be better off calling FW a week or so before we arrive? We are each making our own reservations. Thanks.

I know that you should have your reservations linked when you make them. They do not assign your site until 4 or 5 days from your arrival. Fax your request to FW at that time. Side by side sites are not guaranteed. You may be across they loop road from each other or maybe a couple of sites apart. I am sure they will try to accomodate you. This best thing would be if you arrive together and talk to the CM at check in to make sure you can get two sites in the same loop together. If you are going at a busy time this will probably be difficult.

I would make the request when you book the site. It would not hurt to check back a few days later just to be sure the request is noted on your reservation. When booked in advance and request noted I bet FW gets it done 999 out of 1000.
We wanted to switch sites once and the CM told us they would normally let us switch but the site we wanted was one of three that they were holding for a group and they did not have any other set of sites to put that group in so we had to stay put which was OK with us. They will do there best to get you together and FW's best is about as good as it gets.

Just have them link your ressies together with your reservation number. We have done this many times and have never had a problem being together. We have had up to 5 families with us at a time. We have never done anything more than that and have always been together.

We went last year with family. We made our request when we made our reservations. We had car trouble on the way and were delayed one day. They still put us right beside our family.
