if you could only pick 2 signature restaurants for your trip, which would you pick and why ?

Do you mean on the dining plan or overall? The best 2 restaurants (excluding V&A which is a totally different experience) are bluezoo and Il Mulino.

If you are talking those on the plan, I'd have to go with Flying Fish and Citricos (although Citricos would not be the best choice for young diners as it's fairly boring there, lol). So if I had young diners, I'd go for Jiko instead of Citricos.

We've tried Yachtsman steak house, food wasn't very good. Atmosphere and service was good. Cali grill, food was O.K. not worth 2 credits and service was terrible. Any time we wanted a drink we had to ask for it, it was never offered. View of the fireworks was awesome.

Narcoossee's was wonderful. Food was excellent, service was terrific, great view of the fireworks. We will do this one agin in the future. I would try to get Le Cellier instead. That was the best meal I've ever eaten in my life. The cheese soup is a little salty, but everything else is to die for. I got the filet with mushrooms, risotto, and the mussels for an appy. it was great. I will definatly use 2 credits to eat here on our next trip.

We really enjoyed Artist's Point for best food and it had a less hectic feel to it than most Disney resturants.

Although California Grill can be hit or miss I still like it for the "Disneyness" of looking out over the lagoon/castle and watching the fireworks.

Narcoossee's - food and service were great - we love lobster :lovestruc

We are trying CG for the view!

We're love the DxDDP, it means we eat at all the signiture restaurants we want :cool1:

Totally agree!!

california grill

and

yachtsman steakhouse

we love both soooooooo much!!! yum!! is it may yet??

citricos is third...

we had great experience at Narcoosee's, Citricos, Jiko, Brown Derby and Flying Fish. Look at the menu and see what you would guys would enjoy.

Flying Fish and Yachtsman Steakhouse. A very close third would be Narcoosees.

We are doing all 3 this May. :yay: Plus, we are doing for the first time: Artist Point and Jiko. We are dropping our 2 other stand-bys, Citricos and California Grilll, to try Artist Point and Jiko. I hope we love them as much as Citricos and Calif Grill!

My reasons: Flying Fish is hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at anywhere, not just WDW...and we travel a lot. It is also just beautiful inside. We love the Boardwalk location all lite up at night. It's just a great place to have dinner. Yachtsman is always good and the service is always excellent. It's got that casual but elegant thing going on. You always feel so welcome there, it's never stuffy. We always stay at an Epcot resort and do Yachtsman our first night. It's a tradition and my entire family loves that place. Narcoosees is a beautiful restaurant, very casual but elegant. Service top-notch and the food is excellent.

California Grill because we've never had a bad experience there (and never even just "average" - always very good to great) and we love it.

For the second, it would either be Jiko or Citricos.

Yachtsman is a nice restaurant, but its menu is limited IMO and not as great as it used to be.

Flying Fish - ugh - I had a terrible, terrible experience there this summer that left me wondering why people rave about its signature dish and feeling very turned off in general. The service was terrible - we had to sit and listen to our waiter play trivia games with the table behind us while we waited with empty glasses and unmet needs - even my son's grilled cheese was terrible. (It was so bad that he still talks about it.) I'll probably give it another try one day with the idea that it was an off night, but that won't be anytime soon.

Flying Fish was so good it blew us out of the water. Everything was overwhelmingly delicious. The mussels are to die for.... And a fun atmosphere on the boardwalk, saw 2 funny performers, DS 5 was a part of both.

Brown Derby, I think is under-rated.... and a very nice and convenient place to eat in the park, the only signature in a park. Dined there twice last week, once planned, the other because we changed our park plans. The appetizers were delicious -- oyster brie soup, cobb salad, crab cakes... the entrees were delicious too -- black grouper, and the filet (huge filet for lunch). If not Brown Derby, I'd pick Citricos - excellent food and more formal than other restaurants at Disney.

My all time favorite.. Le Cellier.. by far the best food I have ever had.. (although I know it gets flamed here quite a bit)..
Flying Fish..

I hve a husband who isn't really a foody and a 4 year old so when we go in may we are only doing Le Cellier.. the rest of our adrs are at 4 year old appropriate restaurants..

My top favorite two are Flying Fish Cafe and Narcoossee's. FF for the wonderful delicious Potato Wrapped Red Snapper that they have. Plus, my DH just loves their Char Crusted New York Strip. Plus, we have always had a good time and service there.

We have been going to Narcoossee's for years! We have always had the best service and I enjoy the Whole Lobster that they serve. It is also wonderful to watch Wishes from the dock when you are there during that time frame.

Citricos because the service is stellar, the food is to die for and the location is awesome

Flying Fish because of the fantastic food...dined there three times and each time was incredible.

Flying Fish and Cali Grill, because the food is incredible. everything on the menu that we have tried was excellent. the service has been good too.
